I used to be worried with their original plans about making Daredevil more light-hearted & comedic, but after they rebooted their plans, not worried anymore. That trailer basically told me they were keeping the tone of the original Netflix series, and with Disney feeling more comfortable with M-rated shows & R ratings for movies, I'm confident I'll enjoy this.
I know I'm not the first one to comment this but when he says "the earlier show" he's referring to what born again originally was. Discussingfilm's tweet was a quote the article did point out, but it's context is the original show.
I think what the Show Runner ment was the Netflix version dragged a little and that there were scenes that went on for too long and in Born Again they’ve removed the drag.
Daredevil (2015) show was the best superhero show ever. And the trailer for born again is way better than any other daredevil related trailers. So i have high hopes for this. Marvel is going to cook in 2025
TBF the original daredevil series definitely competes with the penguin for best comic show so if the new series is on the level of the original than it could beat out penguin
I disagree with you Original Netflix daredevil season 1 alone destroys penguin s1 out of water ad the greatest comic book tv show of all time And season 3 is too overkill to compare it with penguin as that srason literally the all time greatest comic book season show eternity and the that season also made daredevil as one of the greatest in the whole television aswell As much as how great penguin is , its close yet not close to the level of daredevil in terms if quality , easily the greatest cb tv show of all time
