I remember this beatiful car from when I lived in south Africa. Just dramatically beautiful!! And the most beautiful of that wonder pack of exclusive South African racing machines! It would be nice to see a video on the E30 3 liter or the XR6!
Yes, I knew of the car and have always considered it a halo model for Alfa, Autodelta and the SA motoring industry. Well known amongst the Australian car community.
i drove 2 back in the day. tested as i wanted to buy one. sadly they were in bad shape. later a mate bought one, in great shape. i drove it, and i nearly cried. i wanted it so badly, and still do to this day. i will always want one as long as i live.but it think i was never meant to have one of the greats...m535i, XR8,333i, XR6 interceptor, etc. the list goes on. SA had great specials here.
yeah i had the 2litre version i drove that around london for abit . i wanted to get the v6 and thought about dropping in the 24v version out the 164. but eventually the car rotted away .my parents re from durban but i was born in london.
That's a lot of meat in that engine block to bore it out that much. I punched out a 1.8 liter Volvo engine to a 2 liter. It took forever to bore it! 🤣😂
@bernardwarr4187 Yes, a boring machine. The max you can bore an old school 1.8 Volvo is 2 liters. Maybe you're talking about boring out a 2 liter Volvo engine. I do know they can be bored 2.1... They have a V6 3 something liter Volvo engine...
The GTV6 is in my top all time favorite looking cars... from the front its stunningly beautiful.

Alfa, made some real gems.
I've never seen the 3 liter one here. But some of the video section in the clip was shot in Switzerland.
Thanks Chris 👍💪✌️

I think they do in with a machine? In fact you can easily take them out to 3.2!

Not "coop", but "coopé" (coupé). It's French!
