I think I like your old hood better. Great video... thanks! Is there software that allows you to track a bunch of shit that you can post in the corner of the video? Speed, time, battery levels, route, etc.. I've seen such somewhere but I'm not sure where, when or of what... may have been an ultralight flight.
Looks like you moved out pretty close to me! If you haven't already you should try taking the mountain view corridor trail all the way up to West Valley! It's a really cool trail when you start getting up into West Jordan especially, with very few streets to cross! I love riding it at night, it's a good time.

Hey man, love the channel.. I'm in saltlake, I'd like to know where to get on some of the trails I see you riding.. Do you have that info somewhere? Anyways, quik question.. I got my second Mantis 10 after I sent the 1st back because an E10 error msg kept coming up.. When I looked down after speed testing the 2nd Mantis it was flashing E10 the same as the other.. I love this thing. It takes me 22miles and hits 37mph.. I'm 6ft 190lbs so it meets my expectations as far as specs.. It hasn't had any performance issues so far but the e10 worries me.. Fluidfreeride has been good as far as customer service. But they sent me another $1600 scooter flashing the same error code. Do you think this is something I should worry about? The scoots less than a week old with less than a 100miles.. Same as the other one I previously sent back.
Nice ride! - i myself got the Vsett8R for only $200 more- i gotta have fold down handles for car transport and taking into stores -would love to see a comparison between the two

My e scooter has a top speed of 45 kmh do you think this means I can be on the road (the roads aren't to busy) or should I stick to the pavement?

Hello RK9 I like your videos... Question: On the Kaabo Mantis 8 dual 500watt does the battery gauge go down when you are using the throttle and then come back up to several bars at a complete stop??? I just got my scooter and noticed that the battery level shows like 2 bars left and it's fully charged with full throttle and when I stop it goes back to it's full charge...
Yes, it does this. It is normal. Because the scooter uses basic cells in the battery, it has something called voltage sag. Higher quality Samsung lg or dynavolt batteries may not do this.
Which one should I buy Mantis 8 PRO or Mantis 10 base, anyone know or has any input on that?
They are about the same price. It will be used for commuting mostly. I have a really hard time to decide which one to get, I mean it's too many options to choose from, imo. But I guess at the same time that is a good thing also. I am trying to find long term use reviews from scooters but there aren't that many videos from what I've seen. There are lots of reviews but they don't test the scooter for more than a week what it seems and that way too short of a time to make a real review with all the issues that you will see after a longer period of time.
How trustable is the website. I would prefer buying from Amazon so I have that 30 day return policy. I’ve heard horror stories of all third party websites not responding in terms of customer service. With third party websites I feel like there’s no going back.

What did you end up getting? Tested a Mantis 10 and it felt like too big and too fast for a beginner. Plus, $1k more lol
Biggest range on Mantis Pro so far I got almost 38 miles / 61 kilometres, with 2 and 3 gear (turbo) for the most part and various throttle. Usual range I get is 26-34 miles / 45-55 kilometres, depending on how windy and how many uphills.

How does it do in light rain or wet road. I’m told the newer kaboo have up ratings. The pro se specifically states ipx4 for 2021 models and ipx5 for 2022 models. This is what voro told me, but when I pressed them they couldn’t really tell me if/how it was officially rated.

How fast is gear 2, and how fast is single motor?
Was stoked to get mine, but motor cuts out and customer service won't respond to my messages and emails. If customer service is important to you, look elsewhere.

Hey, what is that loud humming noise when you brake? Is that the regenerative braking or maybe the motors whining down? I just bought this scooter and overall really like it, but mine makes that similar noise while braking and would prefer it to be quieter. Also, is there a way to turn off the braking lights at night? The flashing lights are attracting too much attention (I know this is the point of them). Thanks buddy.

It must be the fact that I weight 260 but my Mantis 8 doesn't have great range.
Fully charged I rode for 9.6 miles on flat ground and was on my last bar with reduced top speed.
This is the only negative I've experienced with this scooter.

I am looking forward to getting a Mantis 10 pro in red and black, but I just heard through the grapevine that there is another scooter that weights under 60 pounds (57.4 pounds) that goes just as fast as the Mantis. And judging from the pictures I don't think that the motor cable runs through the break rotors, so it does seem like a plus, once I get paid I'll see how that scooter comes and performs.

NEVER buy any Kaabo products, there is ZERO support. It's like playing Russian roulette with your hard earned money. Terrible company with THE WORST customer service possible!
