Sourdough Beignets

Amy and grand kids making New Orleans Style Sourdough Beignets. You never know what the kids are going to say! We sure had a fun time though. These beignets have a slight sourdough taste but are oh so good. I think they could have gone into the fridge after 4 hours and it may take some of the "twang" out of them. We all really liked them though.
Making It Work is about taking what you have and figuring out how to "make it work" for what you need. We work in the shop, in the kitchen and in the carport making and creating the things we need. We do a lot of DIY projects including soaps, sourdough and grain free foods, campers, painting floors, jigs, screen doors, woodworking and metal working.
