First-rate narration style and character! Marlowe, of course, is a classic, hard-boiled detective, one who Mr. Massey uniquely captures. “Noir” novels by Hammett, Ellroy, as well as this one from Raymond Chandler were made into films still popular today. The author’s short, clipped dialogue style needed little screenplay alteration. Keep searching the archives. The audio book world lost a master when Daniel Massey passed.
I'm guessing you mean a Centennial Celebration. I don't and couldn't find a copy online. The concept of having 25 mystery writers write short Phillip Marlowe stories sounds intriguing though.
Daniel Massey - FANTASTIC JOB!!! My thanks!!
Love this narration. It is perfect.
Classic. Thanks for this one!

Do you happen to have the Elliott Gould’s reading of Philip Marlowe: a Celebration?

Daniel kept a consistent tone to his rendition. This edition is well reduced for length, compared to the novel.
where is Foundation which read by Isaac himself?
Sadly it got a copyright strike and so it was taken down.
@greatbooksontape782 it's sad
which read?
...Foundation, read by Issac himself.
❤
Yes I'm very keen to listen to the story but this reading isn't great. He's a respected actor but this doesn't do much for me.
Absolute awful narration.
👍👍. I thought I was the only one ! !
Of course you have done a better job and will put a link in the comments 😅
