How does someone his age sing with such passion and write such deep spiritual lyrics? The first song I heard from him was "Beyond the Blue" and I pictured some weathered old man. It must be his soul that is weathered by our Heavenly Father. YHVH bless you and your message Josh. Those that have ears will hear.

Josh! You have some huge fan following in Minneapolis. My aunt (passed) was a worship pastor. She shared your songs. How many years later... thank you for giving words bright in dark times. You feel like a brother. Maybe you are! In Christ. I count make it through these cold, dark days with out you.

You can see him smiling, can hear the spirit in his voice when he's singing. It's a rare and breathtaking experience to witness this moment.
That multitasking between laying down a beat on the guitar, getting chords in and singing is on another level talent. Josh Garrels is for real, as a christian and musician.
Thank the Lord for this man and his blessed music. I hope someone here will share in this path of driving out the darkness, and having light be restored. I have seen the light, I'm a changed man. Let's share in this journey of Christ together.

I'm a late comer to Josh's music. But, it reminds me of Keith Greene. No compromise seems to be his creed as was Keith's. I tell you the truth, this is a prophetic voice for this generation!

Many comments on Josh's songs lead me to this: Josh's songs are meant to bring glory to the God he serves, not to himself. If you're glorifying the gift rather than the Gift-Giver, you are missing the point. If Josh is a true follower of Jesus, and I believe he is, he would agree with me. Let his songs lead you to Jesus and trust in him... You have to go farther than the song to find true peace. I pray everyone lacking, finds it.

I absolutely am in LOVE with this man's talent! He was introduced to me by my friend, and I had no idea of his existence. He really should be more out there in the music line-up on the radio, or Sirius. Fantastic and can't wait to hear more of him.

my jaw has been wired shut and all I could hear at first was pizza runs deep in him. I was thinking "God I want some pizza" but then it occurred to me that really I just need peace. Then I heard the true lyrics.

Sorry Brother, I truly understand yer pain. I too, back in '78, had my jaw wired shut as well.....for 9 weeks. I was dreaming of the best huge burger I could eat when I got them out. I went to this awesome restaurant in San Diego, I were in the Navy, & ordered one....they brought that huge burger out & I could not open my mouth to eat it. The waitress knew that something was wrong & brought me a knife & fork & told me she too had a broken jaw & recognized my pain! LOL

@omylord7 I don't think that he needs you to instruct him how to play the music that he sings. Does it really matter. If it bothers you don't watch. If you were just listening and not paying attention you wouldn't notice it and would be more prone to enjoy the music and pay attention to what he is actually SAYING then to be so critical.
