Obrigado!
6 billions people on this planet but one only unic voice like Mr Colin Hay's one. Thank you Sir for such a great talent.
1980's was a good year for music, never tire of listening to Men at Work. Brings back memories of happier times
The Police
What a songwriter, and what a voice! Colin Hay is a living legend! The woman needs to tap down about 80% as she is upsetting the balance onstage
I agree completely
You mean Colin Hay's wife?
@@gchance She could be the pope , she still needs to turn down her dancing 95 % and concentrate of the choir and maybe try to reach into the rythm with her tambourines and other percussion or better yet just concentrate on the singing .
The FOH soundguy strugles with her arythmich tambourine in her mike .
Also the guitarist need to adjust his Telecaster - it´s not tuned equally on the frets .
But good thing to hear Colin´s vocal again.
The red Telecaster that is - the white one seems in tune .
That wife of his needs to calm down, Tries to be the main show herself
I’m just surprised Colin married a woman. I always thought they were gay. The Men at Work.
No She Don't Dance On Wifey You Give Energy To The Songs Good Job!
@@knowmusicman157 Ha thats a laugh mate ...could'nt be further from the truth. I am born & raised in Melbourne, Australia where the Men started & the Men are dead set legends in this part of the world.
@@dbackx Your Australia was a penal colony of Britain. A prison island in fact.
@@knowmusicman157 That's hilarious cobber, tell me more.
Que é do BRASIL e curti essa banda. . showwwwww!!!
Sem dúvida umas das melhores bandas dos anos 80.
I loved their Music 40 years ago and still love it yet.
Men at Work (Hombres Trabajando) Colin Hay, escuchando este Concierto al inicio de este 2023 , aquí en la Patagonia Chile. Siempre Genial desde los 80s. Hasta hoy.
amazing show.. no overkill here, just raw talent from Colin and the band . Long live MAW.
Glad I'm still able to hear the distinctive voice of Colin Hay! The sound of Men at Work,
LOVE YA COLIN !!! Oh yeah the rest of the band too.
Thanks for uploading!
Thanx so much 4 sharing this smokin' show !
Brasil loves Collin Hay and Men at Work !
Gracias, mi banda favorita de principios de los 80's.
Now its evident - Speiser on drums was a huge part of Men At Work ...
He was and is still an amazing drummer.
Agree - his work is amazing. I would love to know how the third album might have been different sounding with his contribution.
one of the best
Exactly what i was thinking... what an awesome drummer... especially compared to this guy
This is the ultimate LOW rent bargain basement band. Everyone is sub par except Colin. Even the flute parts are half ass. Don't get me started on that annoying wife of his.
What a mistake.
Isso sim é música para o meu ouvido !,
Não deixo de apreciar o som desses caras nunca.
"Homens trabalhando"
Thank You Richard!
Gracias mate!
Times are changing. Now, we can see MEN AND WOMEN AT WORK. :-) RIP, Greg Ham! You are missing!
Tack så himla mycket! Magisk spelning.
Andreas Kjell Grymt bra👍🏻👍🏻
Too much dancing on the stage...It's a mistake! But, the amazing voice is still there. Awesome! Thank you for sharing. God bless.
Lol...if she could actually dance it would make sense XD it's just stupid though!!
Having his wife on stage is a mistake.
@@Scott-gn9cc Mmm following in the steps of John and Paul.
Sadly, yes. She's distracting, and not in a good way.
The sound is there, though.
Sad that Greg isn't there RIP.
Very true.
Yes, Colin's band is up there with the best still, and its nice that he has brought some new material into their stage act along with the old numbers that we all never get tired of that's for sure.
Also great to hear him give a tribute to Greg Ham .--Today's younger generations could learn musically a thing or two about real
musicianship here. tremendous performances which captivate the audience from start to finish .
There is one annoying thing here, the constant chattering from people in the background --have they not come to listen to the music?(-- Maybe the bar is too close )-otherwise tremendous and thanks for uploading this .--in my mind Men At Work have never died.
Such a full sound! Love all of the exotic instrumentations!! If I was there I would be dancing right there too! Who wouldn't love dancing to such expressive music~
Thanks for posting a live concert! I gotta go to the one in Denver in March 2021~ I wonder if it will be full band? No worries I'm still there!
it sounds great, thanks for sharing
Colin sounds great!
tour needs to come to the U.S.
love it...one of the masters
Maravilha!!! que sorte vocês tiveram de ir a um show deles!
I absolutely LOVE Men At Work. I know every single one of these songs and was absolutely thrilled to see this video, except.... I know Colin Hay loves his wife but it's a HUGE mistake for her to be on stage. She adds NOTHING to the composition of the songs and is a major distraction. It's so annoying after they finish each song she's raising her hands out like the applause is for her and drinking it all in. Also I've seen better moves from drunkards before... her moves majorly blow. I was thinking how bad it must be for the other band members. Imagine trying to play a song and then here she comes hopping over doing the airplane and hitting that stupid tambourine.. you CAN'T say anything like "get the hell back over to your side of the stage, moron" because Colin would fire you. I was thinking maybe if she twisted her ankle then the audience would be spared her tribal hoppings but then I thought.... nope, she'd just get a big old throne and sit up on it like Dave Grohl front and center moving her arms and bashing that damned tambourine. She never leaves...
It reminds me of that video of Chuck Berry and John Lennon where Yoko does her shrieking thing and you can tell that Chuck is annoyed as hell.
"Here she comes hopping over doing the airplane and hitting that stupid tambourine" hilarious
I think she hits the high harmonies perfectly. Plus - I think she's all kinds of HOT.
Oh good. I thought it was just me thinking these things. We were getting set to buy tickets to an upcoming show and if she's part of the deal, then no deal.
dunno, if Colin likes her there, doesn't do any harm? kinda like Joh & Yoko, except I don't hear Colin's wife (Cecilia? Scheila?) doing any weird Yoko shrieking
Top banda
Very nice👏👏👏
No Ron Strykert Rees, or Speiser No Men RIP Ham
Agreed. They all had unique gifts and brought something to the table. I don't blame Colin though. After Larrikin Music sued Men At Work and won, he's probably scrambling to pay them back. He knows that the Men At Work moniker fills more seats than his name alone.
@@robf6105 Lets hope on the next tour Ron Strykert Rees, and Speiser are on stage, Something has got to give in 2021
I think for Rees, Speiser and Strykert, MAW is over, and has been for decades, I think the reality is that the breakup came from ALL sides. I think I read years ago that when they got off the road in 1984 or so, Rees and Speiser thought they could bring in their own songs - which is fine, but they weren't songwriters. So that's where those two ended up. Strykert apparently started getting cold feet when, during the recording of the TWO HEARTS album, management and the record company were already laying out tour plans. So, that's where he ended up.
13:24 The Longest Night (for Greg Ham)
Esta banda fez a trilha sonora de muita gente, a minha na estrada, Chile e festas nas praias pelo Brasil, principalmente em Fortaleza
Amazing
Wonder if they gonna ever come back home and play? Australia 🇦🇺 would love it
Wife need to turn it down a notch or two.
loved Men....Colin sounds great...band is tight...of course the woman is over the top like everyone else noted. guitar and bass player look like they are in a band for a paycheck and cant wait for the night to be over...not feelin it...probably embarrassed by dancin dunce woman (sorry Colin ..not being mean, she is just too much) drummer is safe behind his kit, sax player would like to be noticed, but stuck behind...you guessed it- flashdance. she nailed who can it be.. a spot on the solos would be good..(to be fair, during down by the sea, dancing prancer looked more like part of the band) .over all it is great to hear this music again and wonderful how great Colin is sounding!
Voltem para o Brasil!
Thanks for this! @58:56
Saw them on the same tour in Australia, they only played a few men at work hits all the rest was Colins solo work, shame they didn’t have a set list like this one.
Awesome 🎯🎯🎯🎯🎯
Nice stalk of guitars!!!!
still hitting the notes
Good sounding music, put a piece of paper over right side of screen for a less annoying view. Works most of the time. lol
I did 😊... U got 2 u know ...??? 😁😁😁🥴✌️ *
Ya, no shit..i tried to block flailing eyesore hippy chick out of my mind while watching..hard to do..
Goats appear and fade away .
Only a personal thing but Cecilia's tapping on "Man With Two Hearts" destroyed the song or at the very least the sound engineer needed to turn her mic down a bit .....Afterall, he already has a drummer!!
PLEASE TRACK LIST
Don't know their whole catalog, but here's a few of the hits
I was there! Fantastic show ❤️
We're waiting for İstanbul. New Men at work is great:)
Fantastic stuff a beautiful tribute to greg ham loved it colin is great voice and style.not so keen on cecilia dancing tho
I'm just acquainting myself with the catalog. I never ventured too far past Business As Usual. Can anybody provide a set list for this video? Loving it, but only know a handful of titles. Thanks, and peace to you all!
There is a setlist in the comment below here 👍🏻
Most excellent! Thanks for posting.
(At least the lady on stage isn’t quite as hard to take as Yoko Ono.)
That "wench" is Colin Hay's wife.
@@MrDuneedon >> I once saw Paul McCartney described as “the husband of noted tambourine player Linda McCartney.” No one is paying to see Colin’s wife…
@@jaybee9269 Yes, that's obviously true, but there's probably a way to express that without calling his wife a "wench."
@@MrDuneedon >> I have changed it to “lady” solely to make you happy. Cheers!
@@jaybee9269 For me? Nah. Let’s say you did it for Colin. Cheers to you as well. I’ll be seeing Men At Work live this summer, by the way, with Rick Springfield and John Waite!
Yoko ono. enough said
Great to hear some of these songs performed live again. Too bad the remaining band members couldn't be part of this. What's the deal with the weird dancer?
I saw them on the same tour she was apart of the opening act and performed some of her songs plus some cover songs, she doesn’t seem to understand what an opening act is though since she doesn’t leave.
@@tbone8223 That's his bozo of a wife.
She is not a weird dancer!! She is from Peru, and as a latinamerican people really feels the rythm !!! The whole band is from latin america!! Arriba latinoamerica carajo!
@@tbone8223 she is & we want her off stage 🤩😁🥴😋🎯
@@natxo29 She's also Colin Hay's wife, so...yeah. I think she's gonna stay.
I really miss Simon Hosford playing No Sign of Yesterday 😢
The wifey has way too much energy. Drink fewer Red Bull’s before next show.
has nothing to do with it. Wants everyone to look at her. Cant do anything about it because she’s Colins’s wife
Heavenz above, this band.. huh? Theez guyz are all plugged into the 'copper-plated integrated circuit' ! I wanna say what about that guitar? what about that bass?.. but you get the idea. Colin soundz better than ever, and ****WOW**** what a band he haz !
I see Colin has his own Yoko there! ha ha
band or solo hes still good 45 yrs woooow
She needs to go back to the hotel before the gig
What's with the Yoko character?
Gostei da Brasileira no final. Da lhe BRASIL
Anyone who really knows the essence of Men At Work in the band's classic line-up, has an immense difficulty in accepting this band that is on stage, however, the original and great vocal is still there, but it seems more that the band is paying tribute to itself. This dance on stage all the time, what became Men At Work? Not the same feeling. Time changes everything. Just a opinion.
Men at Work became a Trio doing their third and last album...and a Duo immediately after(Hay & Ham). Unfortunately Ham died in 2012 and now only Collin Hay is carrying the legacy of the band. The lady dancing on stage is Collin's wife. I think she could be doing all this stuff as a back up singer not upfront next to Colin.
Love It!
Wifey spends too much energy jumping on stage... poor Colin most likely will have to settle for tv dinners after the show. Just sayin'!
My guess would be (since it's not 1950) they'll order food after the show (since Colin has 50 years of showbiz money.)
2019 y siguen tocando wow
Man It's Nice To Hear Collin Ray Bring Back Alot Of The Cool 80's Men At Work Songs And Many More Songs But Whats Up With The Lame Crowd There Dead Come On People Be More Lively Move More Dance Get In To It Collin Ray Is Cool I Am One To Say This Cause When I Listened To This Concert On My Pc I Danced And Got Into It More Then The Thousands That Were There Attending The Concert What A Dead Bead Croud Shame on You Congrats My Freind Collin Ray Your Music Will Go On Forever Thanks Again And Wifey Dance All You Want You Give Energy To The Songs Like I Wanted To Dance Along With You Good Job!
They're not 'dead', they're trying to figure out why that woman is acting like she wrote the songs and is running around the stage, adding nothing but irritation to everyone.
Colin you sound amazing!! Fresh songs mixed with classic MAW!! That dancer needs to tone it down a bit!
Danke für den Konzertmitschnitt. Colin Hay hat eine der markantesten Stimmen im Rock. Exzellent. Nur das Geflatter von Cecilia Noel nervt, was hat die Dame auf der Bühne zu suchen?
Jogi Albert i can not speak german :)
@@TheHofffa He was saying that Colin has a unique voice in Rock music. Excellent! He wonders what Cecilia has to do on stage with all her jumping and stuff. It annoys me too.
Robin Eleveld Aha okej :) Thanks
Qual nome da primeira música
Touching The Untouchables
Colin hay is still great and all, but this is just Colin Hay with his wife and solo backing band. Why couldn’t he at least reunite Men At Work with the other 3 surviving members?
All of you who scorn the wife's zealous enthusiasm for her husband's success can go to hell. Celebrating your mate's career is what a good marriage is all about. You go, girl, and love your man however you - and he - like! Great show, glad to know this music lives!
Cringey eyesore hippy chick flailing around onstage trying to be center of attention..= No Bueno
All they're saying is, she can do that OFF the stage. If I'm a pro athlete, do I have to put my WIFE on the team?
It's not 'scorn', it's a viable observation. Some things do NOT 'need' to be there and it would be 'better' if they weren't.
He’s the lead singer for a reason, no need for two lead singers competing for a performance
Not against women's rights and stuff, but that woman could have been way more useful staying at home cooking some meal for her husband or working on a project in an office rather than jumping vigorously on the stage and annoying innocent audience. Just sayin'🤷 Great music though!
Lol...that's Colin's wife?? Yeesh...I'm all for being a devoted couple, but you would think you could be honest with your spouse, and tell them their crappy dancing is not adding to the music AT ALL XD
Yup ... I am an innocent audience ... Thnx Ànya, really 💕
@@jcnmyboy3365 You're welcome! 🙂
Colin in great voice live as,always not so keen on Cecilia dancing tho
Correct on the wife.
woman in keyboards plays with Zappa plays Zappa's
Love Colin Hay voice🤟
Solo work too
But yess i have to agree, too much dancing on stage from the lady 😶 (enh Luc)
tAMO na hisTÔrih ~~~~~~~ ~y~
I saw Scheila Gonzalez play a fantastic set with Dweezil Zappa for the Zappa Plays Zappa tribute. I was hoping to see her in the frontline exactly like her predecessor, the late great Greg Ham was, where they belong, but here she seems to be obscured by the wife backup singer (when MAW originally had back-up singers such as Kate Ceberano for their ill-fated '85 tour they all stood up the back of stage with the rhythm section. But I guess Colin wasn't married to any of them hey?) No offence but she is distracting this performance. Give Scheila her own space FFS! Nobody can see WTF she is doing because the occasional backing singer wife is obscuring her performance . Still it sounds great 👍

😂
I'll have a pint of what ever Wife's had
She looks like she has had about 20 pingers lol
Colin Hay did not sing any song that Ron Strykert composed...🤔😪
Get your facts right: Upstairs in My House (music by Ron Strykert) - Down Under (music by Ron Strykert) - Down by The Sea (Music by Strykert, Hay, Ham, Rees, Speiser.) Without Ron's influence there would be no Men at Work...
Great Men at work, going to watch them tomorrow 👍 can't wait 🤣
ceci go home!!! someone would know about you, if you weren´t married whit Colin???? mmmm
The flute line is actually not correct, listen to the original
they had to change it because they got sued and lost. copyright infringement on an old Aussie folk tune.
The lady dancing? HUGE distraction.
The one in the yellow hat needs to get off the pills or something
Touching The Untouchables the Harmony guitar part isn't being played with the sax riff on the chorus. And the Drummer sucks compared to the drummers colin used in the past.
9l
She is too distractive.
His crazy wife jumping all over the stage is so annoying! please kick her out!
She’s a Mistake!!!
He he..
Awesome...Except for the Hippy chick flailing around on stage trying to be the center of attention...
Essa mulher no palco está me aborrecendo! Ela me irrita!! Não foi boa ideia do Colin Hay pôr ela pra fazer nada encima do palco!
Wifey is wayyyyyyyyy to distracting. Especially Dr Heckle song ugh I couldn't watch it.
Yoko
Lady thinks she is the star of the show.
Couldn’t watch anymore. That chick needs to just stop it!
Who knew Men at Work got Yokoed? I have always loved Colin Hay and Men at Work but had to stop watching because of that obnoxious woman.
I'm sorry, Colin is awesome, but his wife is dreadful. Her backing vocals ruin every song.
The wife is a bit too much.
