It’s simply because lying is NOT an offence under Indian penal code if your are not under oath. But just because no one had filed a complaint against him, it’s not wise to say that he is innocent of those crimes .For example , if a student lies to his teacher that a dog ate his homework book, he cannot claim that he is right because teacher did not file a police complaint on him, it is understood that the kid is lying but it’s not a cognizable offence.. It is also worthy to note that he was able to fool Indian media that he was able to make drone with mixi motor. EVERYONE believed him. He did not give it in writing and no one notarized it and hence he cannot be held accountable for it but he did fool everyone . If i alone had that talent of making people believe that a mixi motor can be used to make things fly, then I would have reached greater heights in my carrier.
