Working on a Film Set with the Tascam Portacapture X8 (Part Three)

If you're just getting started recording sound for independent films or concert videos, the Portacapture X8 is an ideal low cost 32 bit recorder. There are several cords and connectors I use constantly to get the most out of the device on-set. This will allow you to attach multiple mics and monitors, including wired/wireless boom mics and lavs using the Røde Go II system. I'll also go over how to quickly navigate your Tascam Input, Mixer and Home settings.
