I was lucky enough to see them play at The Ritz. We dressed up for the occasion cause in those days the band could see the audience and riffed off us. It was a GREAT SHOW!
Everyone dressed up to go clubbing back then. Men wore trendy suits and heeled shoes/boots, and women wore dresses and stilettos. Now, men wear jeans, t- shirts, and trainers and 50 % of the women do too. I still make an effort on a daily basis, even in my mid 50s, minus the stilettos, they kill your feet. Lol 😊

My son, now 26, agrees that music from this era will never be equaled and enjoys it as much as I do - I guess a statement that great music never fades away.

Perhaps it's because Clare really looked as if she could have been the pretty, cheeky girl next door - happy, laughing and eminently kissable.
