Great sounding after all these years. I saw the band back in the 80's with Grace singing and this does justice to the original members! I don't know the new singers name but what a great voice! I think that's David Freiberg up front, right?
But he damn sure isn't that beautiful. She greeted everyone at the concert I seen last weekend. The whole band had a meet and greet after the show. Signed things and took pictures and stayed until the last person left. She is a wonderful person
Sounds really weak. Doesn't sound like the original band. Mickey Thomas still sounds decent and he is the original singer of this song. You should drop it from your setlist.
I’ve known Cathy, the singer, for about 25 years. She knows she can’t replicate either Grace, Marty or anyone else. But she is a powerhouse and has been for decades. And she’s a great person, too.
David Freiberg on backing vocals and rhythm guitar. He co-wrote "Jane" Cathy also worked with Grace Slick on a song, It's About Time: ruclips.net/video/JcWkOk2JTsw/видео.html Please subscribe!
Ive played drums for 59 years. Played with Grace, Stevie. Love the haters. Moaning about the Original was better. 1. There are only so many chords. 2. Ya think you can do it better? Ok. Then get your ass up there and shut up! Nothing but love for ya!🥁😁
Circa 1981 with Grace, Mickey and Paul. Pete Sears doubling on guitar and keys, Frieberg on bass and Aynsley Dunbar on drums. Craig Chaquico on guitar. ruclips.net/video/zoxeWtsG-Fw/видео.html
Many don't realize Mickey Thomas had the best voice in Rock. Women trying to sing songs he lead sounds good but no rivals. Mick/Slick harmonized so well together! Deng! Grace is 81?
Sadly. I disagree. This is basically a cover band now. Nothing can replace the original lineup. Nowhere near as good as the late 70's - early 80's Jefferson Starship. Mickey Thomas still sounds great and does the original songs with Starship, however that band isnt as good as J.S. either....
and if they ever came to houston, i'd go see them on tour... but i got what i got and it was awesome to capture these songs live. :) and i love dosey doe :) please subscribe!

This is a tribute band ~
Cathy is a force of nature. And a really kind human, too.

The lady has a nice voice , look and nice ric. But dont think this is her music to do.
Nice job....very right on..❤🇺🇸👍
Brilliant! - cheers from the Mississippi Delta
Where was this held? Dosey Doe's maybe?
Fantastic!
How many are original members? Notably Mick, THE voice, is not present. Still sounds very good.
Cover band.
David Freiberg was a member 1974-84 and again 2006-current. Drummer Donny Baldwin was a member in 1984 and 2009-present.
@@larry2506 Didn't Donny get in a fist fight with Mickey Thomas and get kicked out of the band (in 1984)?
@@pauli6043 yes sir ...broke mickeys orbital socket in his face ..needed surgery

I opened for JS many years ago. This is basically a cover band which is becoming all too familiar. With that said, they don't sound bad a all.

We are seeing them in concert this weekend in Kentucky. I can't wait !!!

It's not a tribute band. It has an original member, don't be an ignorant troll.
