I am half Vietnamese but my mom never taught me how to speak the language. Thank you for making these videos. It is so helpful. I find that the language apps mostly teach Northern dialect and my family is from the south.
You need to make a video about yourself. Even online learning is a kind of conversation anyway and I would be happy to know who my teacher is. I enjoy your videos! You are doing good! Good luck and thank you!
Hoa Dao decoration seems like with the one in Lunar New Year in China. Usually people will put mini lucky envelopes, mini lantern, etc to be hang on the tree.
Besides lessons about words、names、situations、pronunciation, maybe you can make more lessons about “TOPIC”. This lesson is about the topic of Lunar New Year. How about making a lesson about the topic of introducing sightseeing spots in HCM? Many foreigners come to HCM for sightseeing. It will be convenient for them if they can tell taxi driver of which sightseeing spots they want to visit by speaking Vietnamese. As far as I know, these are the sightseeing spots in HCM:War Remnants Museum、Reunification Palace、Notre Dame Cathedral、Sai Gon Post Office…etc. Not just sightseeing spots in HCM. Any famous cities in Vietnam can be as a topic, like Hue、Da Nang、Nha Trang、Phu Quoc. I also know places like Pho Nha Ke Bang National Park、Hang Thiên Đường…etc. Just personal suggestion. I hope that my personal suggestion does not digress from teaching Vietnamese by SVFF and learning Vietnamese by foreigners.
This Vietnamese cute guy is Canadian with Southern Vietnam descendant. I think it is a bit hard to fulfil your suggestion, he he he... Perhaps He can make a video about Vietnamese comunity in Canada...
+Benno Krummenacher bạn giỏi Tiếng Việt quá! Actually, these lessons are for beginners, thats why i tend to speak slowly ! I'll try to speak faster (in english). Sorry that My english a little bad, so Ill try better in next lessons :))
I think the most important thing is that any learners from any countries can understand what the teacher teaches! There must be many learners whose mother tongue is not English!I can understand the teacher’s English even he speaks faster. However, there must be many learners can NOT understand well if the teacher speaks English faster because their mother language is not English. Just personal opinion.
Because they would say we say this and this here. haha. I want to make it easy for them to understand me. But its an adventure. Maybe I can learn Hue language lol that would be cool

Do 'R' 'D' and 'G' have different pronunciation in the North and South? Sometime R sound like D or G(i).
+Billy Joe Bob Adam V in Southern dialect, g and d sounds the same! While the northern makes d,r,gi the same
Anh ơi, video lần tới dạy nhanh hơn và nói nhanh hơn một chút được không? Rất thích cách dạy của anh nhưng chậm quá thì cũng nản.
