Beloved to his family, friends, and employees, Don Cavanaugh was a Palm Springs legend. The longtime owner of Blue Coyote Bar & Grill, Don Cavanaugh lived a life as big as his personality, until he succumbed to complications related to Parkinson’s in 2019. When he passed, his daughters saw an opportunity to continue Don Cavanaugh’s legacy AND help the organization that provided them so much assistance - thus, Don Cavanaugh Day was born.
