Girlllll!!!!! Finally somebody. This year ive been struggling with bv ive gotten 3 so far! Im sure i had 4 already but the last one was not detected cuz i was taking probiotics and i believed it heped my ph balance but i still had the smell. By then ive already knew what bv smells like. My only symptoms is the odor so strong and discharge. Ive gone to the doctor they keep putting me on antibiotics which goes away but comes back every 3 months and im like u.i kept going and i knew i already knew what i lt was. That i feel embarrassed going like hey.. im back again. Ive never dealt with bv. out of nowhere i just kept getting it. Im not doing anything different. I have been batting BV for 2 yearsss!! In and off.. my only triggers are from unprotected sex & semen. I only tried AZO probiotics and I didn’t really notice a difference. Tbh this has controlled my life… I have BV now with no smell and just ready to remove my V😭. I’m tired of this interfering with my sex life. I have went to the gynecologist and also did a evvy test. Still waiting on results. I was also told low levels of Vitamin D can also trigger it. Anyway.. thank you for this video!! I’m sooo embarrassed that no one around me is dealing with this! Same like I get on antibiotics and then get it a week or two later . I haven’t had sex in months and yet I keep getting it . Even after solo play and I wash mine before and after each time . I got it from my boyfriend who I’ve been with for 5 months but only sexually active with for two. I didn’t have the odor but I had the itching and it’s terrible. I asked him to take a round of antibiotics as well since I am right now so I don’t just get it again after doing ten days of suppositories! Nobody talks about it but men can carry the bacteria that causes it, they just usually don’t get symptoms, women do. So it’s not technically an sti but men can give it to you.

BV occurs when there is an OVERGROWTH of gardnerella vaginalis bacteria, and not enough lactobacillus bacteria. In order to have healthy vagina flora (environment), you need to have a majority of lactobacillus bacteria and an acidic vagina (BV makes the vagina alkaline). So obviously to counteract the BV you must get your lactobacillus numbers up. How to do this, by changing your diet and taking probiotics consistently. Sugar knocks off your body’s overall ph, allowing opportunistic bacteria to grow and florish. Sugar also feeds ‘bad’ bacteria, resulting in the ph of the vagina changing which prevents the healthy lactobacillus bacteria from thriving. Probiotics are good bacteria. They increase your lactobacillus numbers, allowing the lactobacillus to maintain the correct, acidic ph in the vagina. Meaning you have a healthy vagina. Lactobacillus also feeds on fibre (vegetables). They DO NOT like sugar, so cut the sugar out. The same also applies for yeast infections. If you are taking antibiotics for Bv, you absolutely must also take probiotics becuase antibiotics kill good and bad bacteria. Taking probiotics will replace the good bacteria that will be killed by the antibiotics. If the good bacteria is not replaced, you will most likely get Bv again, and/or a yeast infection. Suppositories like boric acid or AVC are good because they create an acidic environment in the gut and vagina, which allows the lactobacillus (good bacteria) to thrive. Cut out refined carbs completely if your problem is recurrent, take probiotics with a minimum of 10 billion CFU daily, and you can take more than the recommended amount a day, it’s only bacteria. Also look for probiotics with multiple strains of bacteria, it will tell you on the label e.g 15 strains of bacteria or 4 strains of bacteria. The more the better. Eat more fibre and once again CUT OUT THE SUGAR
Yes, everything you said makes sense! I was on Flagyl 3 years ago and it gave me permanent nerve damage, a yeast infection and the BV didn't go away. I was scared to try anything for a while and lived with recurring BV/YI. I got so tired of it that I tried boric acid suppositories. I used them for 2 weeks and noticed the smell of my discharge changed to a kind of tangy smell that it had before which signifies the regrowth of the lactobacillus (healthy) bacteria. I can't take the probiotic capsules since they're too big to swallow but have started making pickles and kimchi at home. Fermented foods naturally have lots of good bacteria. The kinds bought at the store are made with vinegar, which actually kills all good bacteria so homemade without vinegar is definitely best. The candida diet is preferred too since the yeast overgrowth in the gut can inhibit absorption of nutrients and other good things
I got diagnosed with BV last week. I've changed my diet completely around. I'm only eating foods that help my gut and pH balance. I purchased the pills beforehand thanks to reddit so I took my antibiotics and happy v together. no signs of a yeast infection so far. Happy V recommends taking the medication for atleast 3 months in a row so you won't have symptoms afterwards.

I just came across this product and thought I’d look up reviews because when you’ve tried different things you can feel skeptical but you’ve definitely convinced me. For about 2 yrs now I struggled with reoccurring yeast infections and I mean I’d have one like every 3 months it would come back like clockwork. Also, more recently I have been getting reoccurring bv infections. For me, I won’t have an odor just the wonderful symptoms of burning and itching 🙄 so it can be difficult for me to tell what I have since a yeast infection and bv feel so similar for me. I don’t know but it’s literally been a living hell and I’m ready to try anything that can prevent these infections from coming back. I also have a boyfriend and it does suck when it negatively impacts our sex life, I mean he’s understanding of course but it’s awful to have this in the way all the time.

I seen a video talking about recurring uti’s and the lady tried raw garlic cut up like two or three times daily. You cut up three cloves and wait ten minutes then swallow like a pill. I just started a few days ago and I see a difference. Garlic is nature’s antibiotic because of the allicin in it. Hope it helps

Update: I did try it and could see difference. The odor did go away but I have the Mirena birth control in and it keeps causing it monthly before my cycle so I’ll probably be taking it out soon
@@Virgo_Bri I had mirena for about 2 years and had never had any type of infection before until I mirena. I had it removed after 2 years and I didn’t get anything for a long time, then a year later it happened out of the blue. Then about another 2-4 years later. I recently got it after being abstinent for a while and it was after drinking. I don’t drink often only once a few months, but I think alcohol also plays a big part in killing the good bacteria! I would get mirena out immediately I’m still not 100% normal and I’ve had it out for 9 years 😭 if you research mirena and bv you will see countless comments about women experiencing the same thing. I still believe it was the root cause, but you would think my body could fight it off after this long! I don’t take any prescriptions or BC anymore, it’s just not worth giving up your health. I am also celiac, and after getting tests done, I found out that my body struggles with breaking down protein, which has a lot to do with enzymes. If your body is attacking itself from gluten, it affects your ability to absorb key vitamins that enzymes need to survive and work properly, so that’s another Avenue to look at if all else fails. I’ve been gluten free for 2 years and it’s a lot better, but still just slightly off sometimes. Could be cross contamination I guess, it’s so difficult to never eat out though! Enzymes and your body’s ability to break things down can also affect ph. Wishing you all the best
Washing down there vigorously with too much soap n wash cloths ,could do this also , I stopped using wash cloths that I wash in washer with tide detergent /bleach . I now use throw away wash cloths . It has helped alot.

I still struggle with it after getting treated. The only thing is, I no longer have the order, but I keep getting brown discharge and cramping a week and a half after my period, and it stays like that till the next period. I don't know what to do anymore because I am not getting any help from the doctors. I am not in a relationship to keep having this problem.

I have suffered with chronic bv since I was a teen iam 43 now what the drs don’t tell you is that bv or any infection creates a biofilm which is hard to breakdown antibiotics don’t work then you have to treat for a yeast infection and the cycle continues what did work for me was using boric acid suppositories for a week while also taking probiotics everyday and cutting sugars and carbs I also had a hysterectomy and I still get bv from time to time you have to find what works for you because what works for one person might not work for you jmo

Does anyone experience BV with unprotected sex? Thats the only time I get it. And it's really annoying because if you're in a loving committed relationship you dont always wanna wear a condom. But I have to because the second I dont use it my PH is thrown ALLL the way off! Very Annoying.

I have found a soap and a suppository that eorks for me aswell but its expensive having yo constantly buy both products do if i can find 1 product that does it all im here for it. I read to drink distilled water and ACV together I tried it and I read that a woman might have UTI and try drinking cranberry juice I tried it and going to the bathroom like crazy I don’t get my cycle anymore I try not to douce but the thing was stinking when I ran out of ACV that is when the odor came back I take probiotics like crazy I sometimes take two three four pills a day and still have the symptoms

Of course! 🤞🏾and yes, I made him use the same unscented original Dove bar soap that I use. Only for his privates though. For the rest of his body he could use whatever body wash he wanted. This was to ensure that no strong scented soap would throw off my PH balance.

I had never had BV until I had sex with a new partner. I feel so helpless and embarrassed. Everytime it clears up, it comes right back. I don't know what to do anymore. My doctor told me that it was an STI, so now I'm freaking out that he's not being truthful about things, but the internet says it isn't.. When you say partner are you referring to both men and women because men cannot develop BV. But yes, if your partner is a female both parties should get checked for it.

They are not crushable pills. They have a powder inside of them. I believe they have a soft gel capsule on the outside. You may be able to open it up and put the powder in a drink but I’m not sure that will taste great. I am horrible at swallowing pills too but what I do to make it easier is get a bottle of water, put the pill to the back of my throat and just chug it! lol I hope that helps! 🤞🏾
Hey! Did you already get diagnosed with BV before taking them? As said in the video always take the prescribed medicine from your doctor first. I normally would take it after I feel like it might come back and the next day, the odor or any other issues are gone.

Hello, nothing worked for me except for changing my diet. I'm not always perfect with my diet. But, cut out meat and eat raw fruits, drink water, Smoothies, veggies and and drink bitters and it will most likely disappear
Hi! First I would try to figure out what is triggering your BV. Whether it’s from sex, soaps, douching, or something else. If you have BV already I would suggest going to the doctors to get the medicine to get rid of it then from there to prevent it from coming back I would take the happy V probiotics/probiotics. I got very familiar with my body so I could tell when BV was coming and I took the pills accordingly. They are not cheap pills so I would use them as needed. I hope that helps! 🤗

I was dealing with it for years and the antibiotics only worked temporarily then it would always come back. The Happy V pills along with other feminine hygiene changes is the only thing that worked for me. I have 2 other videos after this one that give female hygiene tips as well. 🤗

Girlllll!!!!! Finally somebody. This year ive been struggling with bv ive gotten 3 so far! Im sure i had 4 already but the last one was not detected cuz i was taking probiotics and i believed it heped my ph balance but i still had the smell. By then ive already knew what bv smells like. My only symptoms is the odor so strong and discharge. Ive gone to the doctor they keep putting me on antibiotics which goes away but comes back every 3 months and im like u.i kept going and i knew i already knew what i lt was. I have been batting BV for 2 yearsss!! In and off.. my only triggers are from unprotected sex & semen. I only tried AZO probiotics and I didn’t really notice a difference. I got it from my boyfriend who I’ve been with for 5 months but only sexually active with for two. I didn’t have the odor but I had the itching and it’s terrible. I asked him to take a round of antibiotics as well since I am right now so I don’t just get it again after doing ten days of suppositories! Nobody talks about it but men can carry the bacteria that causes it, they just usually don’t get symptoms, women do. So it’s not technically an sti but men can give it to you.

BV occurs when there is an OVERGROWTH of gardnerella vaginalis bacteria, and not enough lactobacillus bacteria.
In order to have healthy vagina flora (environment), you need to have a majority of lactobacillus bacteria and an acidic vagina (BV makes the vagina alkaline).
So obviously to counteract the BV you must get your lactobacillus numbers up.
How to do this, by changing your diet and taking probiotics consistently.
Sugar knocks off your body’s overall ph, allowing opportunistic bacteria to grow and florish. Sugar also feeds ‘bad’ bacteria, resulting in the ph of the vagina changing which prevents the healthy lactobacillus bacteria from thriving.
Probiotics are good bacteria. They increase your lactobacillus numbers, allowing the lactobacillus to maintain the correct, acidic ph in the vagina. Meaning you have a healthy vagina.
Lactobacillus also feeds on fibre (vegetables). They DO NOT like sugar, so cut the sugar out. The same also applies for yeast infections.
If you are taking antibiotics for Bv, you absolutely must also take probiotics becuase antibiotics kill good and bad bacteria. Taking probiotics will replace the good bacteria that will be killed by the antibiotics. If the good bacteria is not replaced, you will most likely get Bv again, and/or a yeast infection.
Suppositories like boric acid or AVC are good because they create an acidic environment in the gut and vagina, which allows the lactobacillus (good bacteria) to thrive.
Cut out refined carbs completely if your problem is recurrent, take probiotics with a minimum of 10 billion CFU daily, and you can take more than the recommended amount a day, it’s only bacteria. Also look for probiotics with multiple strains of bacteria, it will tell you on the label e.g 15 strains of bacteria or 4 strains of bacteria. The more the better.
Eat more fibre and once again CUT OUT THE SUGAR

Yes, everything you said makes sense! I was on Flagyl 3 years ago and it gave me permanent nerve damage, a yeast infection and the BV didn't go away.
I was scared to try anything for a while and lived with recurring BV/YI. I got so tired of it that I tried boric acid suppositories. I used them for 2 weeks and noticed the smell of my discharge changed to a kind of tangy smell that it had before which signifies the regrowth of the lactobacillus (healthy) bacteria. I can't take the probiotic capsules since they're too big to swallow but have started making pickles and kimchi at home. Fermented foods naturally have lots of good bacteria. The kinds bought at the store are made with vinegar, which actually kills all good bacteria so homemade without vinegar is definitely best.
The candida diet is preferred too since the yeast overgrowth in the gut can inhibit absorption of nutrients and other good things
I got diagnosed with BV last week. I've changed my diet completely around. I'm only eating foods that help my gut and pH balance. I purchased the pills beforehand thanks to reddit so I took my antibiotics and happy v together. no signs of a yeast infection so far. Happy V recommends taking the medication for atleast 3 months in a row so you won't have symptoms afterwards.

I just came across this product and thought I’d look up reviews because when you’ve tried different things you can feel skeptical but you’ve definitely convinced me. For about 2 yrs now I struggled with reoccurring yeast infections and I mean I’d have one like every 3 months it would come back like clockwork. Also, more recently I have been getting reoccurring bv infections. For me, I won’t have an odor just the wonderful symptoms of burning and itching 🙄 so it can be difficult for me to tell what I have since a yeast infection and bv feel so similar for me. I don’t know but it’s literally been a living hell and I’m ready to try anything that can prevent these infections from coming back. I also have a boyfriend and it does suck when it negatively impacts our sex life, I mean he’s understanding of course but it’s awful to have this in the way all the time.

I seen a video talking about recurring uti’s and the lady tried raw garlic cut up like two or three times daily. You cut up three cloves and wait ten minutes then swallow like a pill. I just started a few days ago and I see a difference. Garlic is nature’s antibiotic because of the allicin in it. Hope it helps

I had it removed after 2 years and I didn’t get anything for a long time, then a year later it happened out of the blue. Then about another 2-4 years later. I recently got it after being abstinent for a while and it was after drinking. I don’t drink often only once a few months, but I think alcohol also plays a big part in killing the good bacteria! I would get mirena out immediately I’m still not 100% normal and I’ve had it out for 9 years 😭 if you research mirena and bv you will see countless comments about women experiencing the same thing. I still believe it was the root cause, but you would think my body could fight it off after this long! I don’t take any prescriptions or BC anymore, it’s just not worth giving up your health. I am also celiac, and after getting tests done, I found out that my body struggles with breaking down protein, which has a lot to do with enzymes. If your body is attacking itself from gluten, it affects your ability to absorb key vitamins that enzymes need to survive and work properly, so that’s another Avenue to look at if all else fails. I’ve been gluten free for 2 years and it’s a lot better, but still just slightly off sometimes. Could be cross contamination I guess, it’s so difficult to never eat out though! Enzymes and your body’s ability to break things down can also affect ph. Wishing you all the best

Washing down there vigorously with too much soap n wash cloths ,could do this also , I stopped using wash cloths that I wash in washer with tide detergent /bleach . I now use throw away wash cloths . It has helped alot.

I still struggle with it after getting treated. I have suffered with chronic bv since I was a teen iam 43 now what the drs don’t tell you is that bv or any infection creates a biofilm which is hard to breakdown antibiotics don’t work then you have to treat for a yeast infection and the cycle continues what did work for me was using boric acid suppositories for a week while also taking probiotics everyday and cutting sugars and carbs I also had a hysterectomy and I still get bv from time to time you have to find what works for you because what works for one person might not work for you jmo

Yes! Semen can throw off your PH as well and cause BV! Also sometimes the products your significant other uses to wash with can throw it off as well.

I have found a soap and a suppository that eorks for me aswell but its expensive having yo constantly buy both products do if i can find 1 product that does it all im here for it. I read to drink distilled water and ACV together I tried it and I read that a woman might have UTI and try drinking cranberry juice I tried it and going to the bathroom like crazy I don’t get my cycle anymore I try not to douce but the thing was stinking when I ran out of ACV that is when the odor came back I take probiotics like crazy I sometimes take two three four pills a day and still have the symptoms

Of course! 🤞🏾and yes, I made him use the same unscented original Dove bar soap that I use. Only for his privates though. For the rest of his body he could use whatever body wash he wanted. This was to ensure that no strong scented soap would throw off my PH balance.

I had never had BV until I had sex with a new partner. I feel so helpless and embarrassed. Everytime it clears up, it comes right back. I don't know what to do anymore. Try eating raw garlic for two months twice a day and regularly for 6 months. Then make sure you eat Sauerkraut for a natural probiotic. This should help you !!

How long did you take it before you noticed a difference?
Honestly, within 24 hours. I believe the very first time I took it at night and the next morning I didn’t have any odor or anything.

I didn’t get any abnormal discharge but the discharge I did get had a bad odor. That’s how I would know it was BV.
Are the pills large and do they offer gummies
They are on the bigger side in my opinion but they are the capsules so they are easier to swallow. I do not like swallowing pills but with a water bottle I just chug it and it goes down fast and smooth. And I do not believe they offer gummies.
Can I start these on my period or before period and notice a difference
Yes! You can start them whenever you’d like. I usually wait until my period is over but either way is fine. They are pretty pricey so I try to use them only when I need them.

Can you crush them i can't swallow pills
They are not crushable pills. They have a powder inside of them. I believe they have a soft gel capsule on the outside. You may be able to open it up and put the powder in a drink but I’m not sure that will taste great. I am horrible at swallowing pills too but what I do to make it easier is get a bottle of water, put the pill to the back of my throat and just chug it! lol I hope that helps! 🤞🏾

Hey! Did you already get diagnosed with BV before taking them? As said in the video always take the prescribed medicine from your doctor first. I normally would take it after I feel like it might come back and the next day, the odor or any other issues are gone.

I am sorry to hear that. Along with the pills I also changed some things in my feminine hygiene routine. I know everyone’s body is different but these pills definitely work for me and a lot of others. I hope you can find some relief soon. I know how stressful Bv can be.
Hello, nothing worked for me except for changing my diet. I'm not always perfect with my diet. But, cut out meat and eat raw fruits, drink water, Smoothies, veggies and and drink bitters and it will most likely disappear

Hi! First I would try to figure out what is triggering your BV. Whether it’s from sex, soaps, douching, or something else. If you have BV already I would suggest going to the doctors to get the medicine to get rid of it then from there to prevent it from coming back I would take the happy V probiotics/probiotics. I got very familiar with my body so I could tell when BV was coming and I took the pills accordingly. They are not cheap pills so I would use them as needed. I hope that helps! 🤗
@@asiasjourney9223 so I have been battling with bv for several months. I feel like sex triggers it, I'm not stopping that😉 I've done several rounds of antibiotics, just keeps coming back. I recently tried boric acid suppositories. The smells went away but I'm scared if I stop doing them it will come right back. I bought ph strips so I can test my ph. So my question is. Do u take these while doing the bv antibiotics? Also when u notice it coming how many do u take and for how long? Thanks so much for your helpful video❤
@@shandahughes9537 I don’t think anyone wants to stop sex 🤣 If it’s triggered by sex I would take 2 pills before or right after sex and then the next day and that usually works for me. I was dealing with it for years and the antibiotics only worked temporarily then it would always come back. The Happy V pills along with other feminine hygiene changes is the only thing that worked for me. I have 2 other videos after this one that give female hygiene tips as well. 🤗
@@shandahughes9537 So I do not take them while taking the prescribed antibiotics and when I feel it’s coming back (usually the odor is the sign for me) I take the pills for 2-5 days and I am all fine. Another thing that might help is getting your boyfriend to use non scented soap on himself. Sometimes those scents on our partners can also throw our ph balance off! 🤞🏾
