Washing down there vigorously with too much soap n wash cloths ,could do this also , I stopped using wash cloths that I wash in washer with tide detergent /bleach . I now use throw away wash cloths . It has helped alot.

It’s definitely an hindrance for me and my husband. We only can be active like once a month.

I have suffered with chronic bv since I was a teen iam 43 now what the drs don’t tell you is that bv or any infection creates a biofilm which is hard to breakdown antibiotics don’t work then you have to treat for a yeast infection and the cycle continues what did work for me was using boric acid suppositories for a week while also taking probiotics everyday and cutting sugars and carbs I also had a hysterectomy and I still get bv from time to time you have to find what works for you because what works for one person might not work for you jmo

Thank you so much for this video. My Dr didnt tell me I had it and the pharmacy called to give my medication. I had no idea what they were talking about. I thought they made a mistake. The assistants working at their office took days to call me back and they finally told me. Whaaat? Then I got what the Dr. ordered and the fineprint said that long use of the medicine caused cancer in lab rats. Whaaat? I called again and the assisstants still took days to get back to me. this is me . i’m struggling so bad with it since my bf now he’s very supportive but i know he probably gets annoyed but i keep going to the doctor and everything i got tested for mycoplasma and ureaplasma because i read that makes bv linger around so i hope it helps, because i don’t know how im gonna get pregnant if this keeps happening i feel so hopeless.
