I am 26, I don't know ABCD in investment but I desperately want to invest. So started learning from this video, hope I will get good knowledge in it ...thank you
Here on i am 26 and have a thankful story, as my father invested in mutual funds on behalf of me instead of giving m a huge pocket money to enjoy, while he also fulfilled all my necessacity. But from past 2 years as i have become a trader and a financial advisor, it was very tough for me to save any money as no more pocket money was provided and now i had to pay atleast 50% of my sip's to which i used to get very angry and furstrated as i wanted those money to spend on unnecessary things but i had to invest those money, to which now i am thankful to my father that he played a great support to give me a kick start at my early age towards investment.
I've started my investment journey not too long ago at the age of 17 , I'm 20 now and am a student of investment, I aspire to be far more learned about investing and finance than I am right now in the near future:)
I started my financial freedom journey at the age of 19. I save my money every month and invest that amount. I am grateful to have you as a mentor sir.
I can't thank you enough for this cause honestly I have no clue about anything related to finance..it has always always scared me. Although I know it's important I have always pushed it off for another day
I was curious since 13 but i didn't have a bank account that time then I learnt alot about it and saved and consciously spent on fun and adventurous experiences, though my pocket money was peanuts like barely 100 rupees for a week, then fast forward to my 18 i was very confused with bank accounts and all that got stuck with many other problems gone case, now I'm 19 and I have finally put all my efforts and was stubborn to start investing no matter what be it 500-1000 bucks i promised myself to save all of it not limiting my wants and needs as well as once in a lifetime opportunities with the handful of friends I've got (thank God I don't have any liability such as girlfriend) I've started from this January and I've invested on stocks with just a little research though I'll be improvising my portfolio slowly and smartly, Thank you for this video 🙏🏻
I wanted to invest in mutual funds in college days but the lack of money+ bank account has restrained me. Now I am 22 yrs old and invested in mutual funds from my first month salary. Being a science student, I am looking forward to learning a lot through this series and improve my personal financial knowledge.
I started saving from 22 but lost everything in penny stock. I started saving again with mindset greed is never good for you no matter how shiny that looks. I lost initial years of compounding but better it happened early in my life I had little to loose and I learnt a big lesson.
Very insightful video. I am actually surprised after calculating the returns of each sister. One issue I found in the video was the discrepancy in the investment summary shown in the video and the actual investment of Sister 3. It took me some time to understand how investment of sister 3 is 19,00,000 when she started from 36th birthday; but she actually started her investment from 28th birthday onwards, not 36th. Just raising this so that if someone actually do calculate returns they are not confused and use the right numbers. Thank you Karthik Rangappa for such amazing video.
Since I was 20 years old, I was curious to invest. But the only thing I knew was that you need to enter a stock market for investing which involves risk and even for that you needed Hell lot of knowledge. So due to this fact, I was always unable to start my first investment journey. But this year when I am 22 years old, after accumulating some knowledge about the other spheres, where we can invest other than stock market that is mutual fund, I made my first investment with an SIP of Rs.1000 a month in SBI Contra mutual fund. And I am loving the returns. It has been giving me since I started a few months back. Also looking forward to learn more from this RUclips series of Zerodha varsity.
Hii I'm Aniket, I have started earning at my age of 18 but the first two years I'm not eager to save money. But I realized that after a big medical situation in my family. And now you will not believe I'm saving 90% of my earnings in mutual funds and in insurance.
Thank you so much Karthik. I am excited to look forward many more videos from All Varsity Modules . Those were fun to read but videos are always better and treat to our eyes. :) :)
At the age of 18 i started trading in options but there are many huge losses i stop it and after 1 year break i learned a investing and start research some safe investment options so i choose mutual funds and start lumpsum and sip in some amc and start my investment journey from 19 and now i am 21 years old
Technically, I started when I was like 19 with money pocket money, but I was not consistent till I kind of reinitiated it again in August 2023. Now, I am 24.
I still haven't started investing seriously...though at age 31 with no dependents and very little fixed monthly expenditure, i save only 10 to 15% of my monthly income, other than my pension fund savings
I started my investment Journey at 17; I am currently 21, and my portfolio is 32k out of which my investment is 17k. I invest in stocks as well as in MF.
investing from the age age of 12 from pocket money to a IPPB acc with IR of 5 to 7.5% and from the age of 21 inveting in stocks it gives me around 30 to 45% return per year.
I invest in debt mutual funds so that I don't sell stocks at the wrong time. After watching your video I understood that I should keep at least one mutual fund for long-term.
Hello! My name is Uday. I am currently 22 years old. I started investing in two mutual funds with 1k in each from the age of 18 through a public bank but unfortunately, I needed to redeem my returns due to some personal issues in 2023. As of now, I have no money left in the funds. However, I am looking forward to knowing in-depth about mutual funds and how to select one. Hopefully, to start my investing journey again.
Been saving since I got my first job, not in mutual funds but in other instruments (the safer one and with less returns), started mutual funds more recently
Hi Sir, First of all thank you so much for your videos. It is really helpful. I have a quick question; in the given example, how we calculated the first sister gets more return than the other two sisters. It would be great if you could provide us the formula on how did we reach that conclusion
Hi Karthik. I started to invest in Mutual funds quite late, just 3-4 yrs back, in my late 30s, although I had a PPF account and other "safe" savings since my first Job. At 3:49 timestamp sister 2 Birthdays (Year) column should be 28th-26th birthday and sister 3 Birthdays (Year) should be 28th-65th birthday
