I didn't notice this the first time, but when the Harpy is played it equips the Darkin Halberd, which normally needs you to sac something in order to play it. So I guess that works for all her followers and spells that have that equip a 2 mana or less text on them. You can cheat out equipment that have additional casting costs with them, that's kinda neat.

MF, Nami, Fiora, Garen, Lux, Quinn, Ashe, Braum, Lissandra, Udyr, Ahri, Irelia , Karma, Yi, Yasuo, Darius, Katarina, LeBlanc, Caitlin, Ez, Yace, Jinx, Seraphine, ViEvelynn, Kayn, Varus, Elise, Gwen, Kalista, Senna, Viego, Akshan, Kai'sa, Sivir, Aphelios, Diana, Leona, Pantheon, Soraka, Taric. All are easily hotter than vayne. That's like 95% of humanike, adults in the roster. Can't say why, but vayne doesn't do it for me.
While I think the "reducing cost by 3" sounds weird as heck, it does work differently than setting a cost to 0, because -3 cost interacts differently with other cost increasing/decreasing effects like Pranks, Master Yi reductions etc Still looks jank
@@Zuignap Not really sure but there may be a few niche interactions where the difference matters. If anything, "SET COST", while pleasing to see, is bad wording in this game because set implies it shouldn't go up regardless of what's on board, even if it's a stoney suppressor.

She sounds like a smoker because she may be one, but some people just have a natural vocal fry out of habit. I know I do and I don't do any drugs or drink alcohol. Getting it to not sound with some fry takes effort and much more air when I talk. In my case, my vocal chords are a bit tight. As a guy w a deep voice, it doesn't sound bad and many like it, but interesting fact: more women as of recent have vocal fry and it's continuing to increase in prevalence. In their case, it's mostly poor/insufficient breath control and it doesn't always sound good. I've noticed a way to "deal" with it is by speaking louder bc that forces more air out, but that's not really how you properly address vocal fry.

kinda wish Riot would stop copy pasting level ups... like I get synergies are important, but that doesnt mean we need repetitive level up requirements.
Tbh, its hard creating a unique level up in a region which is known to be the best at attacking, especially if the main mechanic of vayne is attacking, plus, if it works, dont fix it xd

Would be nice to see a Salvage archetype, like: If there are Equipment cards that gives you something when destroyed. Or a unit who grants its keyword/stats/etc when seeing an Equipment card discarded/destroyed.
2 things; 1 - Vayne honestly reminds me of Tracer, but with a much darker aesthetic (though knowing Blizzard they likely stole that from Riot. I dunno when she was added to League) 2 - her cards are unbelievably pushed, like holy shit. It's no wonder they added in so much more removal for equipment this set, you need it now. EDIT: Grap, you my want to consider a 2/2/2 split, but get rid of Gwen for Lucien. He's already disgusting with Gwen (dunno why he doesn't see more play in all honesty) but now with Vayne it's just WTF. Plus they're both Sentinels of Light ;)
2011 is when she was released. Who knows how long they worked on her before that. She took inspiration from both batman and Van Helsing is what I remember everyone saying back then.
I would say she fits in most equipment based deck, but she's quite versatile in demacia that you wouldn't even make her as a deck's own wincon. Riot's been powercreeping their cards this expansion. Only downside in this video is that his chat makes me cringe but I already found a solution for that.
I was waiting for vayne since day 1 and they took my champ just to throw her away and give her sentinel skin as basic this game lets me down once again :c
Motherless Swain TF deck hard counters this deck. They can use 2 cards to clear out the vayne yet they have unholy amount of carddraw to replenish hand

i agree, the original looked badass and competent, this one looks like shes trying to cosplay a final fantasy character. then again ive never been a fan of the sentinel outfits (except maybe irelia's, and even then its not one of her best ones) so i might be biased

I think you are underrating the golden spatula card. Played as a unit, it's not just a 2 mana 3/2, it's a 2 mana 3/2 that costs spell mana.
