Like the first guy said. Why didn't you show how you wire the switch to the drill?
What a coincidence, I'm working on fixing up one of these myself and will be installing a similar (albeit more custom) switch.
On your motor there's a hole, simply knock out a hole in the back of the box and with a conduit nut screw the box to the motor, this is the easiest
