So beautiful! And, actually quite moving. So amazing that all those memories have been captured, to re-live. Only photo's from my childhood, sadly. Nice, but not the same. The music here, is quite simply stunning in it's beauty, and compliments the visual footage wonderfully. Bygone times, indeed. Gotta say that pretty much anything with the name 'Nick Beggs' attached to it will always get my attention! Nice one, Nick! Best wishes, Mate... \m/ (:o)

There is a moment when the young man with his wife and child walk by and I got the feeling of him being a bit bashful, and a bit like "am I really up to snuff?" But then, in the very next moment he's proud, both of his child and of his part in her being here. Seeing him and his family and having the sense of the hopes and dreams he would have for his life, his wife and family, and their futures I was struck by the sheer humanity it and the wish for him and them to have a good and decent life in the way that Bobby Kennedy describes it in his speech the day after Martin Luther King Jr. had been assassinated. The speech is called "The Mindless Menace of Violence." And it is THIS humanity I feel for the man and his family in the video. And in sharing the way that Bobby Kennedy would want our society and its government to do all it could to be the kind of benefactor and facilitator as Scrooge to Tiny Tim and the Crachetts after he recovered his humanity. And, who went on to carry the spirit of Christmas wherever he went all throughout the year. That is the kind of world I want to live in, but there are people who are the bad kind of Scrooge and are hellbent on making life an endless painful austerity for the entire planet. Oh, for the love of each other, how can we overcome those who stand in the way of people's happinesses? Just today, 1-20-22, a single-payer health care bill (AB1400) was passed out of committee to be discussed and voted upon by the California Assembly by the end of the month. A lot of effort has managed to bring it this far. Tho you would think the Dems would support it one of them saw fit to issue a statement of great doubt about the financing. How much clearer can the moral bankruptcy of such people be when seen in the context of the life or death of Tiny Tim and his dependence on the warmth or coldness of Scrooge's heart? The times we live in today just sucks the air out of my lungs and I am made breathless by the complete lack of humanity that corrupts our governments and is destroying the life on our planet. And this this video comes along to remind me of our shared humanity. The piccolo reminding me of Simon & Garfunkel's "El condor pasa." What the world needs are weavers. Weavers of the social fabric connecting the intersecting dots that make up the details of our lives. Like this: rykyoga.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/women-circle-art-being-woman.jpg

The guy with the hat! Looks like an American homesteader ..pioneer stock! What an attractive couple! Whoever took these films had real talent for movie making.
