Jesus, I totally agree with you with the question that when things are ever enough? I feel like when people achieve their goal they look for another goal and then the cycle goes on. I feel like the solution for this is “gratitude” cause if you achieve something and then you appreciate what you have now. You’ll be happier. So it’s like don’t keep looking at the future live in the present and be thankful you have what you have today. You know? I totally relate 💯❤️

id like to share a something from my life. I'm 18 and 2 days after the day I graduated high school which was last june, I carried the corage to go home with the help of my aunt, to step to the door with an officer to leave. I've been physically abused since a young self. and when I was 16 my mother decided to have another child. he is a little boy as of now, the day before I decided to leave, I had to take care of my little brother whilst my mother was out with friends. and I had the roughest night. not because he was being a kid but because of the decision I had to make. to leave and be happy, or to leave my little brother with someone who up to that point I knew physical;y and vocally hurts him. i went and got to see him by his father 3 times. i wont be able to see him again. and I know he's confused and hurting as much as I am. this song hurts me and it makes me head go through circles through those emotions deciding up to know. i miss him so much. so god damn much but the only way I can see him is through photos on social media.
Some thing my pastor told me that has always stuck with me was that happiness is the fleeting things that make you feel good but joy is what Jesus gives you . Happiness goes away but joy is something deep inside of you that stays even in the bad times 🤍
