For me, Alex and the photographic eye, is a great history channel for legendary photographers... Steves channel is geared towards taking todays photographers to the next level. Two great channels for content and dedication, watch both.
Adam Gibbs, Quiet Light. A slightly different take and perspective on landscape photography. Oh and Mr Tucker is at the top of my most suggested list too.
I'm going to be 100% honest most of these RUclipsrs are just entertainment for me and the same for other people even if they don't even know it. Tin House Studio I will say is different then the other photographers just because he knows how to run a business like you do as well. But I would not start learning for Tin House Studio first if I just got a camera unless I really wanted to be a product photographer. Best way to learn photography ASAP is to learn it from a few really good wedding photographers. And the reason I recommend three of these photographers is because they all do it a little different and their gear is a little different at times. Now I'm not even saying you have to even be a wedding photographer. But photographing the bride getting ready and learning how natural light works is a good starting place. Now your at the church and you might be using a 70-200 and learning how to take long photos and even wide photos. Now you have formals and how to use flash if you are indoors or natural light. Now your at the reception learning how to photograph people giving speeches. Party time on the dance floor learning good on camera flash or good off camera flash. Also you will learn a little bit of macro photography also. Photography learning starts with composition, lighting and how your camera and lens work. Then everything falls into place and then watching these RUclipsrs you can say ok there that's a nice little tip I might use someday.
@@mattwasMTB You can ask to be an assistant or second shooter. But if it's a one time thing I don't think they would be interested because they want to find someone that will go to all the weddings they have booked. I think buying some workshops or watching a few behind the scenes is enough of you want the basics and don't want to become a wedding photographer.
Sean tucker is great!

Thx for your insights
would you just ask wedding photographers in your area to shadow them for a day?
