Thanks for the suggestion! Eating the traditional 80/10/20 high carb low fat didn’t make me feel particularly good. We’re all different but for me, a larger ratio of protein and fat with lots of energizing carbs makes me feel my best. I do make a lot of oil free things though, like both of the sauces in this video and the summer rolls recipe here is all oil free. I’ll definitely try to make a point of pointing out which future recipes are oil free friendly 🥰🥰 Hope that will be helpful for you!

Aw don't be shy! I've worked in restaurants my entire adult life and all of the head chefs were men actually! I think anyone can become a chef if that's what they want to do. Gender has nothing to do with it, so don't be afraid to try new things and do what you love 😊

I think it tastes a lot like parm! It's tangy and salty and I like that it's not pre-shredded so it melts easier. Plus I can use a veggie peeler to create larger shavings if I'm making my kale salad recipe for example
Good question Julia! So tannins usually refer to the way a wine feels in your mouth and it can have a kind of dry, astringent quality. Wine, fruit, and other foods naturally contain tannins from the skins, seeds, and sometimes the leaves or stems of the plant. It's usually sulfites that people are allergic to in wine. They can make you feel stuffy or they can cause stomachaches or even hives if you're allergic. Allergies are pretty serious so I would definitely see your doctor to see if you're allergic just to make sure you're safe 😊😊

How I make polenta. Ground corn + water. Microwave until it boils, stir, microwave until it boils again.

What herbs do you typically sub when a recipe calls for cilantro? Do you swap it for something or just leave it out?
@@NikkiVegan it kinda depends. Parsley is a good sub( tip from Rachel Ray 😊) If it’s in a salad I typically leave it out.
