I don’t like how in the beginning he was only interested in the mermaid part of Bella and not herself as a whole. He redeemed himself but it pissed me off
He had good things, but they really messed him up. I mean, it's cool that he has his own interests, diving, and his love for the ocean in general, but the way he behaved in the beginning, especially before knowing they were mermaids. How he forced Bella and Cleo to reveal their secret, how he was just interested in Bella's mermaid part and finally how submissive he was with Sophie 🙄

The idea of a mermaid dating a diver makes total sense. It's a cute mash up. I just don't think Will's character was that great.
