H2O - Just add water is about three teenage girls who can transform into mermaids.😮
After a night bath in a lake, everything is different and as soon as Cleo, Emma and Rikki come in contact with water, they transform and get a mermaid tail. After further experimentation, the girls also discover they have supernatural powers over water like boiling or freezing water. They try to keep their secret from everyone else which makes their everyday life anything but simple. 🧜♀️🌊

Can we appreciate Lewis for a moment. After everything Cleo, Emma and Rikki done this episode (and the last ones tbh) he still keeps their secret without even questioning it. And in the end he get's Cleo her job back. I mean girls, how dare you not to thank him and apologize?
Also, he was more worried about the girls being exposed on camera then him being blamed. I could see him take a breath out when it wasn't them on the camera

Lewis is always so lovely throughout the entire series. He gets terribly treated by the girls and is completely unappreciated by them. I know it’s just a kids programme but he deserved better and honestly should have just ditched them.

I love how this show makes no sense at all.
I do agree Rikki and Emma treat him horribly at times but Cleo, even when she’s mad at him, always ends up doing the right thing and apologising. She’s the one who loves and cares for him the most so it makes sense…❤

From a writers perspective; I love how realistic the characters were portrayed throughout the series. Despite the plot being centered on a fantasy, you still get a strong sense of accuracy within their personalities and down-to-earthness. I think one of the reasons why this is my all time favorite is the pleasant flow of character developement, taking in the fact that the characters are going through stages as the story unfolds.
Hopefully any of that makes sense, its 5am,quarantine, and im watching for comfort.
from a writer's perspective, I get what you're saying. I've been trying to dissect this show and explain why I'm here, rewatching it as a 24 year old man with a phobia for water, and I do think it is because of how the characters were written. Sure, there are plenty of moments I skip past because it becomes way too obvious how I'm *not* the targeted audience, but the different family dynamics and how it reflects each of the girls' personalities? Great. Zane and Rikki's development and portrayal? Phenomenal. Lewis? As a character?? Pure genius.
Lewis got the job BEFORE he found out Cleo was fired. He even was talking about how him and Cleo would be working TOGETHER when he told he got the job. So why should Cleo be mad about that? Why would the girls call him a traitor? It made me so mad. The girls were really toxic in this episode honestly. Lewis is always being abused by everyone.

Cleo is not in a great mental place. It makes sense that she acts this way. Therapy will do her good. Emma and Rikki are annoying because they mess with Lewis. It's normal to mess around, but not in a way where you get in trouble.

Lewis does so much for the girls. He's always there for them and will do anything to keep their secret, yet the girls sometimes treat him really badly and always have a go at him.

I do agree Cleo was way too mad at him even when he explained to her he didn’t know he took her job and she did go over the line. The difference between her and the other two is as soon as she learned Lewis was in trouble she lost her anger and was super worried and came to his aid while the other girls just sat there and care way more about Cleo being upset with them than Lewis being in trouble. The only one who cared about Lewis’s wellbeing was Cleo and she’s the one who made sure to fix something she didn’t even do (sabotaging his job). Being a good person isn’t about always being perfect, that’s impossible. It’s about being able to admit when you’re wrong and fixing stuff, and being mature enough to apologise to the person you wronged. That’s why I’m not mad at her but at the other two.

Definitely. It’s impossible to explain the feelings inside our hearts when we watch h20, the intense love for the characters and their relationships, the way they grow throughout the seasons, I just feel so connected to it and a part of it. We are all so lucky to be a part of the h20 fandom.

Man, everyone's talking about hating Charlotte but no one seems to notice how these three girls are ruining things themselves (e.g. Rikki and the fungi, Cleo and Annette) and are jumping to conclusions all the time. I still love them, but I just wish they at least learned not to jump to conclusions especially after last episode. It's getting tiring.

Let’s get one thing straight: cleo does not always treat lewis like crap. As soon as she heard he was in trouble she did whatever she could to get the dolphin back. And second thing, it was lewis’ choice to give the job to cleo and not take it himself. They’re both good friends to each other.

The truth everyone know but no one seems to acknowledge
I feel so good that someone thinks around here. The fact is, that Cleo and Lewis still have feelings for each other, but she is so unfair for Lewis just because (she thinks that) he is together with Charlotte (and in fact he isn't). They both are free now.
Praise it, sister! Cleo even admits that she dumped him and lacks the right to complain if he moves on or does stuff which goes against her personal best interest - like hang out with Charlotte {romantic or not}. I mean Cleo complains, Emma & Rikki mess with Lewis' job and Lewis almost get's caught up with the police, stuck between a rock and a hard place.
Most of what Lewis wants is to make others happy and sometimes that involves getting the girls to "eat their vegetables" so they grow stronger but he always either good hearted or at least neutral.

Cleo was wrong blame Lewis about losing her job and get mad at him, but I love the way she dropped grudge the second she found out he was in legal trouble even before she found out that her friends let Ronnie out. She was also the only one of the three who actually cared about how Lewis was affected by her friends’ actions. Lewis was a real one in the episode. Also Ronnie’s trainer is adorable.

She’s still angry at him in general because of how he’s hanging out with Charlotte. I think she just feel betrayed this season because everything is changing. The new powers, her and Lewis’s relationship, her mom leaving, and then she gets fired from her job which was probably a nice distraction from it all. She gets jealous and she gets angry and defensive a lot this season and I think it has to do with everything changing around her
