For anyone that wants to know: this show was only planned for 2 seasons. But due to popular demand, released a 3rd season 2 years after the last one ended. Actress that played Emma didn't return, and they made many changes. If the end of season 2 seemed like the end of the series, that was because it WAS the original end of the series.
I think it was also because The movie “packed to the rafters” was being filmed during that time(2008) and she apparently was in that movie. She was not shown in the cast where I looked so she could’ve been in the backgrounds or something else. I am not sure about this though
Bella was alone with her powers for so many years all alone. It must have been such a relief to find two people like her. I can’t imagine how lonely it must have been.
My boyfriend is like this too in a way like sometimes he will come over to stay for a night or two and I’d go to work during the day for a few hours while he sometimes has a day off or works from my house and then I get home and he’s still there

No S- scenes at all- Basically, three girls go for a walk on an island, fall into a cave, see a pool and get in it to get out of the cave, moon goes over pool and transforms them into mermaids, they find out later and then struggle with it for a while, a few.. kinda crude jokes? But not bad and some flirting.
To be honest, if you think about it, her powers are very useful. If she’s trying to get over a body of water, she can literally make platforms out of jelly. Or duplicate an item or something.

I love how this show portrays the growing up of teenagers so perfectly. shows don't do that anymore. each season we see them a little more grown-up and they keep maturing throughout the episodes really beautifully. THIS SHOW KEEPS SURPRISING I TELL YA😩

I can't believe it's been nearly 20 years since this show aired, this was out before social media went mental. we got it in Europe too. Even as a kid I thought Emma and Ricki were really attractive girls, Cleo too of course. Time flies by so fast.
I'm 22 and I'm not going to judge myself for watching this at any age. I see this show as an art. Jonathan Shiff and the crew have been creating this masterpiece with such love and passion for that. And I'm really thankful for their sense of beauty and aesthetic. It needs a huge talent and imagination to film like that. Those tails, moon pool, Mako, underwater scenes, music, the mermaids theory and actually every screen view are aesthetically gorgeous.
As much as Everyone misses Emma, let's just remember that Claire was most likely filming for the originals and Tvd or something else. I actually like Bella and Indiana was a great addition to H2O 🥰💕

Yeah but TVD started in 2009, and there was one season per year, Claire's character wasn't introduced until season 3, which would have been 2012, TO only started in 2013, and the last episode of h2o season 2 was in 2008, so that would have left claire 5/6 years as they had filmed months before it was released.
Bella was fine, but they could've given her better power. After Freeze- heat and manipulation, Jelly feels kinda lame.. especially for replacing freeze.
She was carrying a lot of weight for a girl her size so yes she fell in. She could have easily hardened a path instead of stepping stones like... Emma did it with ice lol not to compare

they made a short reference in a episode when Rikki got really mad at Cleo at the college. Cleo said (not the same words) that it was her fist time receiving her madness bombs. I really like when she left that in the air making us remember that Emma was used to be the target of her sassiness
Cleo is more smarter, confident in herself and Rikki is her same spunky,cool self. And Bella is so sweet and good at singing ❤️ and she's too obsessed with Will.
@KenyaGirly I mean she had already gotten more confident from season 1 to 2. Cleo had the most major changes in the whole show, besides Zane. Emma was pretty much the same both seasons we saw her, Rikki too (but she was alright the way she was), and Bella only had one season so yeah.
That’s what I thought when I 1st saw the thunder that shot the icicles than the tentacle. Since Charlotte had all of the Cleo, Rikki and Emma’s power, it looked like Charlotte’s mermaid spirit is still there
I think at this point her dad loves Cleo and Lewis being together, he knows he’s the best guy for his daughter and he makes her happy and that’s all he wants for Cleo❤
In s1 Rikki boiled that guy so it's really been a thing, but Rikki was way more gentle and she did it in more of a joking way in this episode. Charlotte did it from a place of anger and wayyy harder than here
Why couldn't they say that Ash is with Emma on her world trip? I really wish that they did say it about Ash since he is one of my favorites of the guys in H2O along with Lewis. Ash also knows about the Mermaid Secret.
For those who don't like Bella for "replacing" Emma, I completely understand but it wasn't anyone's fault. This season was due to public demand (meaning season 3 wasn't planned before hand). Emma was busy with another show so she couldn't be back for this one as well as Lewis (that's why he leaves mid-season). They are incredibly similar, I do agree. As someone who grew up with season 1, I miss old characters and the JuiceNet but all Imma say is that we should be glad that they made a season 3. Plus, it would feel incredibly incomplete with ONLY Rikki and Cleo (I do want season 4 too tbh but I guess we ain't having it... ) Side note: Will didn't replace Ash. Cleo has Lewis, Rikki has Zane, and Emma has Ash. It was only fitting to give Bella a love interest

Yeah but TVD started in 2009, and there was one season per year, Claire's character wasn't introduced until season 3, which would have been 2012, TO only started in 2013, and the last episode of h2o season 2 was in 2008, so that would have left claire 5/6 years as they had filmed months before it was released.
Bella was fine, but they could've given her better power.
After Freeze- heat and manipulation, Jelly feels kinda lame.. especially for replacing freeze.
If she was filming for the originals pheobe should have been there

@KenyaGirly I mean she had already gotten more confident from season 1 to 2. Cleo had the most major changes in the whole show, besides Zane. Emma was pretty much the same both seasons we saw her, Rikki too (but she was alright the way she was), and Bella only had one season so yeah.

For those who don't like Bella for "replacing" Emma, I completely understand but it wasn't anyone's fault. This season was due to public demand (meaning season 3 wasn't planned before hand). Emma was busy with another show so she couldn't be back for this one as well as Lewis (that's why he leaves mid-season). They are incredibly similar, I do agree. As someone who grew up with season 1, I miss old characters and the JuiceNet but all Imma say is that we should be glad that they made a season 3. Plus, it would feel incredibly incomplete with ONLY Rikki and Cleo (I do want season 4 too tbh but I guess we ain't having it... )
Side note: Will didn't replace Ash. Cleo has Lewis, Rikki has Zane, and Emma has Ash. It was only fitting to give Bella a love interest
