I am so excited for you two! That would be so fun. You have found some amazing stuff. I'm learning about some glass just from watching some other videos. Be sure to check it out. I love you honey have a blast with this. Love that little coal stove! Isn't it beautiful? Stay safe and healthy. ❤️💞💞💞🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏✌️👶
Beautiful blown glass bowl, vases, and birds. I wish I could have seen the sterling silver item better. That should bring a pretty penny, as well as the Tramp Art seashell vase and the Victorian figurines. The cut glass pitchers look to be in great condition. I would have to say this is one of your most valuable cleanouts yet, if these few boxes are any indication. So happy for you.
Hey Cool Cat! Some great finds in the place. They sure wrapped the items up in bags or paper good as well. Those look like the good bags alsol as they haven't started decaying yet 👍👍
I guess if there ever was a time where tissues, paper towels, and plastic bags were non-existent, this house would be the house to go to! Tomorrow's video includes your card - thank you so much!! So kind of you to do that, Don!
My sister found me a lil glass woman tchotchke at a yard sale last week for a dollar......turned out to be worth hundreds!!!!!!.......Those glass MCM ducks go for some money....especially if Murano glass.....The vase sure sounds like crystal......Clear ring.... Can't wait to see more!!!!🥰♥😍♥
Tony checked the ducks & couldn't find a maker's mark. I'm not familiar if Murano signed/marked everything, so we'll leave the duck research up to him!
If you're interested in learning more about glass, porcelain, lamps, and pottery, you can glean lots of good information from the Crazy Lamp Lady channel. The blue glass piece you found is not factory/mold made, so is likely worth some money. That really heavy pitcher appears to be antique EAPG cut glass or maybe American Brilliant. I can tell you had lots of fun with this pick and found so many items that can broaden your expertise where glass and such is concerned.
The glassware is lead crystal and quite expensive good find the spice set is probably from the 1940 . Nice finds.look things up to get at least the value. I would love to be in the middle of this house it would take me a week to get through it. What a treasure hunt.

But I just wanted to tell you a sad thing that that happened to me on Tuesday. I found out my sister past away in the morning. I am grieving her death for the past few days. I was happy watching your video when I got the call from family. I am heart broken and will miss her very much. God Bless you Renee for doing such wonderful things for other's. Thanks for the heads-up! A few went into my "For Review" section, so they were deleted and blocked. I'll have to do a check for others. At one of the auction houses I would attend, an auctioneer would do that little click on the glass on every single piece. He had a few other classic lines that he would say at each auction. "Who hasn't bought something yet? Raise your hand." Always gave the audience a little chuckle when people actually did raise their hand! The photo was my favorite as well & so randomly found in that box. I just realized it wasn't even wrapped up, like every other thing in this home was :0) Good thing I like to rummage around in boxes or else it might not have been found! We are in the 60s here but summer returns next week when we go back up to the 80s. Personally I'm done with summer and ready for the fall weather. Gr8 items found in this one Rene..😮 The lead soldiers can command a very good price..😍 My favorite is the vintage black cat made in USA so cool..😊 Take care..👍💕🔥👊
This is a good one. The best of all worlds. Not a clean out, pick whatever you want, great stuff, and relatively clean. I'm jealous, but glad it's you! I loved the blue pottery, (mid century is my thing 😍).
I knew it as soon as I saw it! Peter Pots is still in production, near the University of Rhode Island. My husband grew up on the same road as Peter Pots, and my mother in law has a ridiculously large collection (I have a few pieces myself). Super fun to see you find it. -Beth
That amber glass duck lid looks to be the top of a Viking Glass candy dish. Find the bottom, could be worth several hundred dollars. They are quite htf
Hello Renee. I hope you’re weekend is going well for you. I myself ventured out to Indiana to the apple festival in Covington. It was fun. They had some amazing cars there and a old Chevy truck i would love to own. It was a great little outing. I’m in love with the Halloween cat. What a find with luck you’ll find more . Boy the glass pitcher you found was so nice and you could use to defend yourself. You did find some lovely pieces I have to say. Take care. 🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️☕️🫖☕️🫖☕️🫖🥰🥰🥰💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
Thanks for JOINING me!! I see, in the backround a cookie jar like one I have in my collection...she's a Dutch Lady. I like advertising themed paperweights...from fraternal lodges, corporations and historical events...some of my favorites are from the Apollo 11 lunar landing. RUUD Water Heater Co. made cast iron water heaters which resembled that ornate stove. They did not have an inner tank, but coiled piping, holding the water, which was rapidly heated...the first instantaneous heater...hot water on demand! Nothin mew under the sun...such as that well-worn saying! I was hoping there'd be a couple of...well, you know...hiding among those tchotchkes! The Museum of American Heritage would in all likelyhood, welcome that vintage stove! I know of a slightly larger one which may end up in their collection!
You have a larger stove than that?! That stove is a beauty, for sure! Your water heater paperweight sounds wonderful - all those details made into a paperweight, what a great form of advertisement! Any plans for this weekend?
@@PaperandMooseThe stove is currently in one of the estate sale company's warehouse. It's a larger version of the piece in your location. The RUUD heater belonged to a late collector friend, he actually used it! He was a plumber by profession. If RUUD had such a weight...I'd could just imagine what it would look like. Plans for the weekend, Sat. lunch with a couple of friends, Sun. working on a couple of home projects...there is one estate sale...which is, yet again, all Ikea and Pottery Barn decor, skipping that one! The owner was into abstract sculpture...the stuff for sale looks like a great set of props for the Twilight Zone!
That duck lid (?) has to be Viking, it looks just like their ducks. But, I will say, I didn’t know that Viking had a bowl or container with a duck lid, but, I’m far from being a Viking glass expert. What interesting boxes! ✌🏼❤️
She explained long time ago. She works for Tony who finds the jobs, gets paid for the work and she has first dibs on items of interest, the rest is their business, if she didn't enjoy working for Tony or felt he was unfair, I'm sure she wouldn't be involved with him
Hey Renee - the house keeps on giving. That stove! It's going to be fun getting it out. Looks like the chochkies (? sp - never heard that word before watching your videos) will bring a good return. The Gettysburg Address seems an odd choice for a serving tray. If it had been the guy who spoke before Lincoln, it would have been a much bigger tray - I think he spoke for 2-3 hours. A number of your finds brought out my glass anxieties. Is Murano only glass blown in Murano, or is it all blown, colored glass? How can you tell plain cut glass from leaded glass? These are things I need to research some day. Glad you found the cat mask - I bet there are more things like that. Can't wait to see more. Have a great Thursday!
When you research about glass & find out the answers, let me know! Haha. Glassware is something that I am pretty clueless about. Tony knows a bit more about it than I do, so he can handle the glass or have the people at the flea market give him a lesson or two. As for the stove, Tony is having another friend help to move it & store it until it can be sold. From his research, they look to be worth anywhere between $1,000-$2,000... of course, you have to find a buyer that will pay that much! Only found the one Halloween cat. But finding one is better than finding none! Being as we found the Gettysburg Address & the framed picture of Abe, I wonder if they had collected other Lincoln items. Oh to have seen what could have possibly been in this home a few years ago. I'm sure their collection was even greater! Hope that you have a great Friday and have some fun plans for the weekend!
@@PaperandMoose Renée, please consider some of the glass. The birds and big blue hand blown console bowl. They are worth your time and investigation to start with 3 items. I think you'll be surprised! Great series of videos. Some clean outs are absolutely nasty, but looks like you guys stumbled upon a nice one!
I think I'll start with diluted PVA glue, and let the layers dry under pressure between two glass plates, then dot-glue the layers together with superglue before priming with black angled from the bottom and then white priming angled from the top. And then my niece should be happy.. If not, she gets to make her own "canvas" next time. Well, you asked what I think. And I thought about this while playing Minecraft and watching your video. Men can multitask too you know.
You talk about vintage coloring pencils, what's even more crazy is people are starting to collect and sell old Wal-Mart bags. Think they were in your second box.
Renee! That place is a wonderful treasure trove. What great finds you are discovering.I am proud of you for venturing out there more. Good luck& have fun with it..🎃🌻👍
Renee, you so casually mention mouse poop while looking like you are ready for a coffee date! I am always impressed that you look so put together all the time. What a lovely picking through time although, because of my age, it usually takes me by surprise when you talk of vintage items and then I find out that that means the 70's! Can hardly wait for the next video!!
Renee, watching you unwrap all those treasures, I was thinking, turn it over so we could see the marks! So much vintage goodies! What an awesome project! Enjoy!
I used to collect Occupied Japan. Familiarize yourself with the proper stamps. Some are clever, but still incorrect. Some don't even try to be clever...like...Made in Japan Occupied. When I finally sold my small collection...maybe 30 or 40 pieces, I was fortunate to have two women who wanted them. 😃
The white item with the blue stripe at the bottom which you thought could be from a coffee pot reminds me of a candle/pillar holder. I recall having a similar looking one and I think it could be made by Dansk. I could be wrong though as I don’t remember an open bottom. Added: I did look on EBay and found what appears to be the same item. It is listed as: Dansk Christianshan blue hurricane lamp Japan glass globe candle holder vintage. It does show the clear hurricane lamp with it but I don’t recall having that. The Dansk name should be printed on the inside bottom.
Yup, the mouse poop is always free. Glad your wearing gloves. That house is such a treasure trove, seems like words are hard today lol. Thanks for sharing another picking adventure with us, always a joy to join you on these. Love the tin type photo. Those are hard to come by. Oh my, I want one of those old wood stoves.
Peter Pots Pottery blue gray wave, blue ombré, seagull blue. Definitely worth listing. He’s from R.I Take care darling xx

Great treasures Renee 🎉
You talk about vintage coloring pencils, what's even more crazy is people are starting to collect and sell old Wal-Mart bags. Think they were in your second box.
What?! Really?? Now that is crazy!
Check all that glass for signitures. Such wonderful treasures.
😅 you’re so funny 😅
Oh Renee! So much marvelousness!!! Czech pottery is highly collected! I’m swooning! 😊
Renee! That place is a wonderful treasure trove. What great finds you are discovering.I am proud of you for venturing out there more. Good luck& have fun with it..🎃🌻👍
I would imagine a lot of those would do great at auction I know if i was there I would take as. Much as possible even if i had to get a storage unit
When ya opened the blue bowl. I am watching now before ya opened them i said
Blue and Amber on those 2 items
You get to be the tote girl if you want to and let others dig for their treasures
Bees live in hives, wasps live in nests Renee. Liqueur is pronounced lick cure.😊
Thanks!
Thank you so much!
Renee, you look so happy. This life suits you So enjoy your vlogs.🤗🤗🤗
Occupied Japan has some value. Its WWIi era.
Peter Potts and Peter Pan were wearing similar attire! (Wink, wink)
Reach out to The Crazy Lamp Lady. She can help you identify all the glass, pottery and stoneware.
If 1976 is MCM no wonder I failed math😮
Yup, the mouse poop is always free. Glad your wearing gloves. That house is such a treasure trove, seems like words are hard today lol. Thanks for sharing another picking adventure with us, always a joy to join you on these. Love the tin type photo. Those are hard to come by. Oh my, I want one of those old wood stoves.
I want to help clean out this house lol
occupied Japan are worth alot
