Have watched a lot of guitar tutorials on Beatle songs and this is by far the best! I’ve learned so much about playing this song and you explained it in very simple terms. Thanks a million Joe

Nice! I saw some other versions.. Noy that i cant play their version but yours just feel more of a acoustic solo style. ❤️ Ill learn your version! Thanks!
I hope that you can make a tutorial for the solo like you did in earlier part of this lesson. By the way, you make a good explation/tutorial of this song. Keep it up.
Picked up the chords a couple of days ago on ultimate guitar and found your instructions made it so much easier to put together. Many thanks Joe great video.
Hi Joe. I've been checking out your channel for a couple of weeks now .. thanks for your guitar help. Hope you continue to gain more fans, you deserve them.
really enjoying this lesson. Your a very good teacher. Hope you'll consider a part 2, to help with the solo. You played a little of it on your intro and it sounded great.
One of my all-time favorite Beatles tracks. Great lesson on this timeless classic. Would love to hear a fingerstyle version of this tune. You have done a masterful job at capturing the melodic sound in several other of your renditions of classic sounds. Thank you for your talent and sharing your art.
+star doc Hey Star, thanks so much for taking the time to comment it really is appreciated I hadn't forgotten that this was a request I'm sure you were the one of the ones who requested it. I may well revisit this track for a fingerpicked version but honestly can't say when that will be. In the meantime I hope that this helps all the best.
love ur lesson joe but jeeez I struggled for so long with the eflat wished you had shown the Eflat can be played from the 3rd fret as a D chord shape bottom strings only, so much easier for beginners, got it now though thank you
Just seen this (7 January 2020) - really good tuition. Joe provides some excellent tuition also on his web site - certainly a must to view and worth the contributions.

Pretty good singing. Somebody could get quite a good overview of American Popular music by listening to Sinatra's catalogue. Frank gave this song the best compliment ever. He said, (late 70's, I believe) "This is the best love song in the last 50 years. And nowhere in it does he say, 'I love you.'" (He never did say which song from the 20's was better.) :)
@@JoeMurphysGuitarlessons Could you do a video on the iconic solo and the iconic fill please? There are other videos on RUclips that teach this but I really like the way you teach . You clearly have a gift (being a great teacher) so I think that I would enjoy and get more out of a video done by you rather than using a video done by someone else 😊
Yep not sure where that pdf ended up think it was originally on my website, but have updated that. It may be on my Patreon page but wouldn’t like to say for sure.
Hey, Joe...I decided to do a refresher on your lessons of The Eagles, and found that they were blocked here in the States! Well...that SUX!! Love your lessons. You are a great teacher, and thank you for all you do for us old hacks! Cheers, mate! :)
+M McCartney I didn't know anything about them being blocked ! God knows why ? I'm guessing you have tried accessing via my website joesguitarlessons.weebly.com ? Maybe let me know if that works, if there is anyway I can help let me know ? Thanks for your support, keep watching 😉
I did try accessing via your website. They just aren't there. Here in the states, they did the same thing to other people's lessons on Beatles songs. I can only guess it's all about the $$$$.
Joe, great lesson for George's Something. In the video you say you might demonstrate a finger picking version also that we should be able to get .pdf of the chords (I couldn't find it on your website) Thanks in anticipation
Hi Joe. I've been studying this for a couple of practice sessions and now have something 'of my own' so to speak. Thanks again for another superb lesson and look forward to the fingerpicked version at some point.
+Lawrence Stringer Thanks Lawrence, for taking the time to get in touch. Great to hear you are making these songs your own. Hopefully do a fingerpicked version at some point. Thanks for watching
Joe, I am a complete beginner. I really like the way you are teaching. Is it possible to add a chord diagram into your Video that shows us your finger positions as we try to play along? Thank You Joe.

George Harrison was more than simply the Beatles guitarist.. he was a great songwriter if not the best of them.

Hi Joe - had to look up your version of Eb on another website - not seen that shape before.
Just do a c shape but on the 6th fret and mute the high e string

Great vid Joe and a nice refresher for a song I learned many years ago. Wasn't it Sinatra who said this was the best song ever written?
Glad it helped Dave, yep I believe Sinatra did say that
I think he actually said it was” the best Lennon & McCartney song ever written” which pissed George off
Brilliant job, always wanted to play this, also for beginners, use a metronome for timing❤😂🎉
