Nintendo has a pretty big month in March with Xenoblade Chronicles X: DE & the 40th anniversary of Mario Bros which could also get it's own direct, as well as Pokemon Presents in February so April 2nd is actually perfect positioning to blow the lid on Switch 2-- first-party games, third-party games, price point, preorders, release date... the whole shebang... and then a potential mid to late June launch!

I think the biggest secret in this whole trailer that most people overlooked is the joy-con grip itself... i think the grip itself is more than just a grip to attached the joy-con too. I think the grip itself has some kind of a functionality while the joy-cons are not attached to it. It might have something to do with the joy-con in mouse mode and the grip itself has some kind of sensors built inside of it while the joy-con are in mouse mode. I believe the grip itself is the biggest secret that most people are unaware of and that is the new feature that Nintendo will reveal in their presentation. On the regular switch the grip is nothing more than just a piece of plastic that you attach your joy-cons to to turn it into a controller that you can hold in your hand,but on the switch 2, i believe the grip has hidden technology and features that actually has some kind of functionality without the joy-con being attached to the grip... that's what I think most people are overlooking.

@@kierenbuckley370 Not totally true. Just like PC, upgrade is optional. The same games still work across old and new systems with some graphical features or memory features missing. Nintendo Switch is hybrid system and not traditional console anymore. Becoming more like PC or Steam Deck. When Steam Deck 2 comes out new games will still work on Steam Deck 1. The option is there to upgrade to better hardware. Does not mean there is no reason to get Steam Deck 2 if the same games work on Steam Deck 1. The same with Switch 2.
I wonder if the color on the inside of the switch console will be removable... because if you buy an all gray one (rumor has it that there will be an all gray one and an all white one) so seeing a blue or orange/red colors inside the console I do not think they will be permanent... but that's just my personal wish...

I think they aren't hiding anything. This button being blank only means that at some point of development Nintendo was really planning some feature/function attached to it, but apparently scrapped that & it judging that it was 1st look trailer this "button" might just simply dissappear from the joy-cons in the final release version of the console🤔🙄

the bezel is massive. there is no shot that screen is in any way a good or even half decent lcd. nintendo got the cheapest thing they could find
