Even this huge, imaculate shop with some of the best fabricators and machinery in the world, there's still a fuckin' milk crate being used as a seat! I don't know why; but milk crates just feel "right" when you need to pop a squat for a job.
@DudeNiceVCR Can't pull the same amount of travel as a solid rear axle and links. IRS mid 20's and linked around the 30's or more. I'm sure there are other reasons but idk them.

electronics break easier than mechanical linkage.
(might be a competitive requirement for some races they run)
There is around 15 milk crates at our shop used for that purpose alone ha
how much does one cost without the top headlights and the extra tires in the back
Why weld with rubber gloves? Doesnt that seem a little hazardous?
Does any of the metal or tube work get painted or is it left raw?
the metal is always treated and/or coated in some way.
So these trucks have Auto transmissions?

Most of these trucks are manual transmission. Sometimes you will see an automatic.
shoot2killify They’re not manuals, most are three speed sequentials
