@@twinzzlers Yup. It's just really poorly designed, annoying and inconsistent (buggy? I can't even tell...) Hell, there are two ammo crates for the AR2 and only one gives the vital alt-fire ammo lol
@@twinzzlers i personally found EZ1's story a lot cooler then EZ2's, but the gameplay for 2 outshines 1 definitely. 1 certainly has a fair few pitfalls in properly telling the player what the fuck they're supposed to actually do, especially once you're inside Pillar-10 lol that end boss fight is just such a pain in the ass because it never tells you that you can use those raising barriers to avoid that MASSIVE damage volume that extends after taking out one of the core thingies. and then at the end it's just you tanking damage and hoping you have enough suit charge to tough it out long enough to slam the primary fire into the last vort EZ2's fights were way more refined and definitely had a lot more flair to them with all the fancy additions the devs cooked up, breadman totally learned a lot from EZ1 and didn't really repeat any of the mishaps found in 1. i just found bad cop's backstory to be really unbearable and edgy which bogged it down whenever it was brought up lol
The boss fight difficulty was so unnecessary. Vortigaunts aren’t really rebalanced to account for you *fighting* them. The platforming in the final phase was so absurd, alongside the vortigaunts. I only beat the final boss by cheesing it, which sucks. As far as I knew, there wasn’t really any hint as to where to go or what to do next, so I only figured it out through trial and error. I’m glad Entropy Zero 2 didn’t do anything like the final boss in this game.
