    Great build. I do have a question. I see you are using both extra thin & model S cement. Is there a particular reason you would use one glue over the other in certain situations?

    • @StrictlyFunScaleModelling
      @StrictlyFunScaleModelling  6 месяцев назад +1

      Thank You kindly! 👍😀 and yes there is reason:
      Normally I use Mr Cement S (or Tamiya quick setting) because it joins plastic parts 'from the touch' which makes setting parts (esspecialy small ones) easier. You just connect parts, put glue and that's it. Thanks to its effectiveness, for me it is the best glue for a regular use.
      But...
      This kind of glue is very aggressive for plastic and melts it instantly. Sometimes to assemble parts together You might need to manipulate to set them properly and here comes a risk that Cement S will not give You enough time to do so.
      Besides, (last remark 😉) thanks to strong and fast reaction glue vaporizes also very fast. If You put Cement S in a connecting hole it is very possible that there will be no glue left when part will land in the hole...

      @@StrictlyFunScaleModelling Thank you for the reply. Great to know. I will have to start utilizing this knowledge. It should definitely make some aspects of assembly much easier. Love your channel by the way. Keep it up!

    What is the drill tool you are using? Looks intriguing.

      Hi, yes it is the perfect tool for a modeller! This is a drill which is being used in jewellery works. This model is produced in China so the name will not tell You anything I am afraid...

    Hi, great video. What is the stand you are using and do you have a link to it. New to your channel, so please forgive if this has been mentioned before.

      Hello Barry. This is a stand is made by AK Interactive and is named ZEP system. I bought it because Octopus jig was not available on the market. I can reccomend this tool - it is quiet friendly and helpfull 👍

    Hallo.
    Leider ist deine Zusammenstellung zeitlich überhaupt nicht passend.
    Die Soldaten stammen aus der Zeit 1939-1941, das Stug aus Ende 1943/Anfang 1944 !
    Die Ausrüstung der Soldaten hat sich zu dem Zeitpunkt der Stug-Produktion deutlich verändert. Deshalb passt das nicht zusammen.
