I never thought about actually organizing my medical log in this way! I am in charge of our medical visits and it sometimes can get quite messy, especially if we are not able to book two appointments for regular check ups at the same time. Since I live in Austria, most of our medical care is free but for some things (especially private doctors) you still have to pay, so this is a live savior!
Love this. I have been thinking how to set up something similar. As an only child of elderly parents with health problems, I was trying to separate all of us in far more complicated setups that were difficult to manage. (ADHD overwhelm vs perfectionist demons were in full swing until I recently started meds for it, so not like I didn't know I was the complication, just hadn't seen an easier way.) I appreciate you sharing such a simple way to do this so it doesn't take hours to set up for each person. Thank you.
You're most welcome! Notion makes it so easy to create one database for everyone and then use filter to give each person their own "tab". Let me know if you have any questions or run into any issues with your set up!
Minutes in...GENIUS! How secure is the info being added? This was really helpful for me to begin understanding how to build out things like tables and templates. I have not finished the Master Task List video with your template yet, but I will. I think things are starting to stick in terms of Notion...lol! Thanks again!
The default share link is always off, so people can only see the data IF you share a page with them. Notion also has safety measures in place to protect against hackers. And if for any reason you decide to stop using Notion, there is a protocol you can follow to delete all your data from their servers. Here's more info! www.notion.so/help/security-and-privacy So glad Notion is finally making sense-that makes me so happy!
GREAT VIDEO. I am surprised you don’t have the name of the doctor referenced in this video. I have such a hard time keeping them all in my head, so I would love to see this connected to a contact database. We are four people in our family, and we all have different doctors. Is that just too difficult to accomplish?
Not at all difficult! And that's a wonderful idea. Instead of a select property, you could just create a Contacts Database and relate it to your medical visit one. Then you can easily select the Dr. you (or your family member) saw for each visit. Now I'm going to have to rework mine! 😀
Hi! I don't actually have a premade template available, but this video walks you through step-by-step and shows you how to create one and customize it to meet your own specific needs. :)

❤ Really great video that goes over the basic of databases. I really needed this. Well done Kalyn! Look forward to more videos like these.
Thank you so much! I’m glad to hear it helped you. :)
This is the most helpful notion video I’ve seen - thank you for making it look easy and usable!
I’m delighted to hear that you found it easy to follow and helpful!
This video was so helpful in understanding the flow of how Notion set up works. Thanks!
Yay! That's so good to hear!

Where do I start? Gmail Excel spreadsheet? This is where I am lost. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
I use this simple Notion database to track these visits! I find it easier than excel as it's more visually easy to keep track of.
can i have the template please?
