This updated and upgraded version of the E-flite UMX Waco is now equipped with optional-use SAFE Select that makes it more stable than ever before, plus exclusive Spektrum™ AS3X® that keeps things smooth so it feels like you’re flying a much larger model, even in windy conditions. The factory-installed brushless power system features an upgraded 2S- and 3S-compatible outrunner motor. Install 2S 280mAh batteries for performance similar to the original model, or use 3S 300mAh batteries for more speed and unlimited vertical performance. The control unit includes an ESC and Spektrum™ receiver that provides real-time flight battery voltage telemetry to compatible Spektrum AirWare™ equipped transmitters while you fly. It’s constructed of advanced EPS material for a lightweight yet durable airframe, and it’s now available in two trim scheme color combinations including fully-painted yellow and lighter-weight unpainted white base versions. Best of all this Bind-N-Fly® Basic model arrives 100% factory-assembled and is ready to bind to your 5+ channel DSMX®/DSM2® equipped transmitter so you can be flying within minutes of opening the box! Oh my god, you guys really did it. When I first saw the 3s UMX Timber X, I said in a comment here that the dream would be to see the UMX Waco return in 3s form, and be yellow, as it was by far my my favorite Elite plane. I still fly my original Blue UMX Waco, which I still consider to be the single best flying UMX of all time, and here I am, dream come true, considering putting in an order for both colors of the new one. You guys even made the yellow one more than just white with a yellow stripe as well, you gave it the full livery, that just makes me so happy.

Totally agree. E flite are missing a trick - Dynam did it and it was a great flyer, imagine what e flite could do.

Hi Guys, I am really glad to see that you are bringing back old planes (and giving them new features such as the ability to prop hang). However, I feel like there is too much emphasis on aesthetics and realism rather than functionality. You need to bring back planes like the Yak-54, AS3Xtra and the Sbach (perhaps make a green FPV Sbach with racing stripes or something). Alternatively I think it would be good if you guys worked on a new ultra micro Extra 330 or Skyline MX-2 or something along those lines. Remember that these are the types of RC planes that bring the full width and breadth of the RC flying club experience to the park or even the backyard.
We appreciate the feedback, and just as we've seen renewed interest in ultra-micro and scale models over the last few years, we've also seen more interest in sport aerobatic and 3D models too...so we have more of those in the works as well :) And don't forget about the E-flite Eratix 3D FF we released last year which continues to be a very popular: ruclips.net/video/4KTOkpkadw8/видео.htmlsi=v5HqxNSGgdD6Zn9e

It's a little late, so you may not even read this but I Love this little Waco!! I still have my original version. Will definitely be getting both of these new ones. Would be great to see the Viking or ParkZone SE-5 again. Maybe a larger Waco!! :)

Hey Horizon I was just wondering when will you guys release another glider because I really miss seeing some in a long time, it would be really cool if you guys could make some of the famous gliders like the fox, asw-28 or even a Schweitzer 1-26. But the one thing I haven’t seen you guys make yet is a motor glider like the Schweitzer 1-30. I recon if you guys make a micro scale model of the Schweitzer 1-30 or some other motor gliders then it will open up to more customers and make glider pilots and power pilots happy.😄
It's not scale, but we have a new glider coming very (VERY!) soon ;)

We release around two dozen new airplanes each year, from trainers to jets, ultra-micro to giant scale! More than half of those are all-new designs, and the rest are typically welcome updates/upgrades of models we offered in the past. You won't have to wait long to see the next all-new one ;)

Hello I have a nx6 rc radio and it won’t turn on it keeps on flashing the spektrum logo with a faint clicking sound when holding the powers on button it’s on update 3.01 what do I do

It certainly can! Depending on the size of the gymnasium, 2s on the UMX WACO can be a great option for close quarters!
