  • New chains put in quickly, hoping for the best in a hurry. They unhooked from the inside, taking the shaft shields with them.
    Got reminded why you always need them real tight.

    Obviously you didnt have time to do this in this circumstance but usually If I know I might have to chain up I'll do it before hand in the shop. Lift the bike up, take the valve stems out of the tire, put the chains on and snug them tight, then re-install the valve stems and air the tire up. They're always super tight. and stay on.

    Imagine you have chains on each wheel.I put first diamond chains on back axle and that was good,last year i add chains in front axle and that was amazing.Great video by the way!
