    Something else to add is the members are wearing their escape belt properly.
    Their belts are nice and tight to the waist eliminating as much slack in the belt as possible.
    If the belts are worn loosely it only adds more distance between the body and the connection hardware for the device.
    The entire system essentially becomes “longer” by not wearing the belt tight to the body.
    This is especially true when wearing a harness instead of a belt.

      Certainly it should be practiced that way, but from our perspective I don't think it changes anything: I don't think it's necessary to show us that.
