This theme is used several times in my AU Sherlock Holmes stories which is set in the 1890s where Paul McGann plays Sherlock and this theme plays whenever danger or existential dread is present... and or supernatural villains, including Cthullu, The Headless Horseman, and Jack the Ripper, played by Mark Strong... Especially, starting at 0:01
Just saw 1917. Instantly recognised Mark Strongs voice in the movie and have been wondering what was the first role I saw him in. Thinking back to this movie I now know why I like him as an actor so much!
