Nice! I have that exact combo in my yeti and I was thinking last night of swapping it into my hammer rey after my Reefs raw 500 servo gets here so I have a bombproof electronics set up. Thanks for the video!
Hey Joe can you fit a fan on the motor? Have you run into any heat issues since this swap? I just ordered one today and I'll be looking at different options as well. That jump was sick!
Definitely landed in a good spot not only was it on the down slot but it looked like back fill - soft dirt. Slap some Mombas on it lol Cool vid Exo 🔥👍✌️
That was a nice run and yeah that motor is a right screamer. Kind of reminds me of my Kyosho Mad Van with its 4000kv motor, that thing screams pretty well too just on 2s
awesome Video!! Man, sometimes you have to know when to say when, and you did. That was an awesome launch. Question, i don't remember you saying what pinion you were running or spur gear size. any addition info would help. And thank you in advance
Your rear driveshaft is out of phase 😎 Wonder if they fixed the dif issues that br and rr had. Recently got br and dang even on 2s front dif makes noises sometimes the dif pinion had super tiny bearings. Idk if hr comes with it but rear locker in my br makes it so much more fun to drive and slide
I have both and I've had everything but diff issues, LOL! A and Trailing arms, shocks, output, steering bellcrank and it goes on. They are both shelf queens at this point.
Been looking at these rigs but can’t justify the cost cause it needs some work to make it an all around basher/ crawler.. Would need to change esc/motor and lock up the front and rear diffs.
gotta ask ... since this is a u4 racer why didnt you go with the PULLER PRO 4274 1/8TH SCALE COMPETITION BRUSHLESS MOTOR ? or save $55 and get a Hobbywing EZRUN 4274 SL Motor with a max 8 esc ?
I’m working through mods right now as I want mine to be 6s. The stock motor is 36 in diameter and only have room for like 70mm in length. I haven’t got to the motor yet to start thinking about how to make it work but there has to be a way.
I really like the looks of this car, but your video has allowed me to see that rear end geometry is really bad. The attachment of the upper link needs to be as close to the pivot point of the lower arm as possible. The way it's attached now causes the rear end to pivot throughout the travel causing extreme u-joint angles. It looks like they may have done this due to the battery location, without seeing the actual car not sure how restrictive this is, correcting the geometry hopefully would just make battery insertion more difficult, if it makes it impossible you may be stuck with drive shafts problems.
I gotta say it… As nice as it looks.. it’s an absolute waste of everything.. There is a better cheaper vehicles for everything and there are vehicles that are cheaper and waaaaaaay more versatile.. This is an absolute loss in the Losi column.. Just my opinion..
I like how the closed up the sides to keep all the dirt out

Now that’s better! That’s rig looks right at home bashing than it did on the rocks.
Bro this is the Best video for this RC
Good video man. Great landing on last big jump!
Thanks!

Yo that was a very nice jump and the slow motion editing so good
Awesome, are those pro puller motors still not sealed?
Looks like a clean chassis with lots of room
I have this exact combo on my axial bomber on 3s. It rips!!
Please help, I bought a 3100 Casle motor but the shaft is too long and hits inside the housing, did you run into this problem with your new motor?
Epic jump and landing 😎
What other cars or trucks would you recommend that motor esc combo to put into?
What does changing timing do? I’ve been in the hobby about a year and have a channel now but I’m still learning a lot of the technical stuff.
Has the 3D printer compositions gotten better? My last printer, pla was extremely brittle & hard. (Wanting another printer)
Great video! Do you think this motor will go well on the LMT?
Definitely landed in a good spot not only was it on the down slot but it looked like back fill - soft dirt. Slap some Mombas on it lol
Cool vid Exo 🔥👍✌️
hey guys, what shocks do you recomend?
You should lock the rear diff and do a video. Would help it crawling and drift probably

Nice move catching that downside! 👍
I have this exact combo in my TRX-6 and it's FREAKIN NUTTS!!! My all round favorite vehicle I own. By allot. Lol
The video was made with puller pro 4100 kv but I want more power 6000 kv
What castle motor is equivalent to that motor?

From B E C to the E S C, the thing works.
That’s a rad looking car
definitely rips with that holmes hobbies motor.
What size pinion are you running with this motor?

I'd love to race a truck like that with other drivers on a Sandy track like yours . It doesn't look much fun by yourself .
I don't know about that. I struggle to find a good loose or loamy dirt to run my vehicle in
Would be great to see a stronger rear sway bar that fits into the stock position.
Joe pretending to be Rick Flair over here !!!! Wooooo !

Have you seen the movie Flying Cars?
😁👍🛫🛩️
We’re you just waking up in this video or not feeling well you sound a little different
This is the only way to get better from this vehicles
The way that seems to handle reminds of a stretched out wendigo! Just rolls over a little less!
