I feel kinda silly but hearing them sing Illusion and Girls live, I had to hold back tears, it just makes me so happy to hear them sing live and see how they're actually having fun
I've seen them both live and winter is no where near taeyeon's vocal. not to take away from winter, I think she is one of the best performers currently, but she cannot be compared vocally to taeyeon. She gave me goosebumps for the whole 2 hour concert.
You can hear the breathing in their mics. Wow. Thiis is what you called live. No loud background music. Winter's voice is powerful. I love the improvement in their stages.

지젤팬인데 진짜 존나 속상하다 마이크 상태 안 좋은거라서 마이크가 입에 위치해 있어야 하는데 계속 턱 주변으로 내려가고 에스파 춤 특성상 손을 진짜 많이 써서 마이크를 계속 올리기 힘든 상황인데도 불구하고 티 안나게 계속 올리는데 그래도 1초만에 바로 내려감 .. 진짜 우리 에스파 라이브 잘하고 실력 탄탄한데 이렇게 장비가 안 받쳐줄 때 마다 존나 속상함 이번에 저 마이크 때문에 또 지젤만 노래 안 부른다 이러고.. 마이크가 내려가니까 상대적으로 음량이 낮게 들리는거지 4명 다 라이브 했음
Winter ate all notes. Karina too. NN when she was walking from main stage to the second stage, it didnt sound like she was walking when she projected her voice. Giselle was mad that she was nearly shouting into the mike (they set it too low?). Wow, amazing vocals 👏. This is what we call "singing". Now, where are the haters. Normally they would be camping in Aespa's videos as if nothing could satisfy them
Yeah unfortunate what happened to Giselle - hope next time she can try adjusting her mic or something on stage. But also sounds like the live sound engineer was turning their mics up/down (normal in theater kind of things when using headset mics cuz theyre so finicky/avoid rustles and breathing stuff esp when dancing and theyure not singing) - sounds like they missed doing that a bit (I remember hearing it off when ningning sang a small part and also a few times for giselle F) - hope its a bit better next time - but glad it was live yay :)
I was one of those people complaining why Winter got the most lines and highnotes compared to Ningning.. and now I can clearly say Winter deserves all her lines, her stability is pretty insane.

SM artist vocals are really on another level. among the performers in CCMA, aespa was one of the best and cleanest live performance. when people say SM artist eat their cd's maybe it is true, look at WInter she's slaying that live.
The way they sang all the 'Hey's in Illusion. Bruh mad respect to them for singing even the adlibs of the songs. It's not new, but it’s definitely rare.
I honestly appreciate their performance with live vocals cus compared to just watching it, you get to listen to their live vocals which makes their performance much more realistic and actually entertaining especially for us who couldn’t watch the show in person and actually get to hear them sing. Hope they perform with live vocals a lot in the future.
