    This video saved our marriage. Our hose had been limp & dangling for years and I told my husband to fix it and 5 years later it was still not fixed. I was fed up & at my wit's end so I googled a fix and yours was the first video that popped up. I fixed a 5 year problem in 15 seconds. Saved our marriage. Thank you.

    Thank you so much. I don't like plumbing but in this case you made me a hero to my wife in about 1 minute. My weight had a screw on it so just loosen, slide up and tighten. It took longer to move the junk out and back in than to repair. Very grateful for your knowledge.

    Like others here, I had no idea this was so simple. The weight on my new faucet sprayer needed to be moved. I didn't have enough line above the weight. I followed your instructions and all fixed, easy peasy! All the men in the family kept saying "just wait til I can come over, you'll mess it up". Thanks for making this girl a star! Too funny. Thanks again.

    Thank you so much for this video! We rent and to fix a leaky faucet, the landlord had a handyman replace it…which took 10 HOURS and a lot of leaking water 👀. Then it had no water pressure and they replaced it again. Then after a week it was just hanging there and I my husband kept asking me to call them back. It’s a lot of energy to have strangers in your kitchen interrupting your entire day while you chase children, and I think I was traumatized by the 10hour visit from before.
    I dragged my feet on calling and looked at it over and over, seeing a clip I thought was meant to be a stop for the hose, and wondering why there was no weight. If I hadn’t found your video, I would never have noticed that the weight had fallen off into a box of steel wool (and the clip was on the hose upside down🤦🏻‍♀️).
    What a quick and simple fix, and now I’m trying not to cry in relief that I don’t have to call the landlord again.
    Thank you thank you thank you!

    My hose keeps disconnecting from the copper water line. I tried putting a screw on clamp on it. But since it’s such hard plastic I don’t know if that will work. If it doesn’t what can I do. The old white piece didn’t do that. The new black piece just like yours comes off once a week

    • @fixitwithjerry6161
      @fixitwithjerry6161  Год назад

      There are a few amazon links in my description that will take you to different style weights. Look for the ones that have screws. These will clamp on the hose and screw into place - no chance of them popping off that way! Hope that helps!

    Mine as the weight in place but still falls… do you think it’s a magnet that should be in the faucet part?

    • @fixitwithjerry6161
      @fixitwithjerry6161  Год назад

      If it came with a magnet originally but it's not there anymore then, yes, that could be part of the problem. Not all of them have magnets. It's likely that the weight is not in the right position or isn't heavy enough. I never seen two weights installed but I don't see a problem adding one more.

    • @fixitwithjerry6161
      @fixitwithjerry6161  2 года назад

      I've seen people use really long screws and standoffs to help guide the hose in a certain direction. (standoffs are a metal sleeves used either in combination with screws or have their own threads). Hope that helps.

    What if the weight is on and still stuck. My hose looks like there is a kink in two places and the sprayer head is the faucet head so the hose runs through the faucet neck. The problem is I think it’s twisted and I don’t know which way to untwist without making it worse, H E L P, sos

    • @fixitwithjerry6161
      @fixitwithjerry6161  3 года назад

      It could be twisted inside the faucet head, the weight or hose could be held up on something else under the sink. You could try gently twisting it one way and see if it gets better or worse before going any farther. If it is kinked and permanently damaged you may have to replace the whole thing.
