killer, maybe best hockey highlight video ever made...shows varied culture, even music from Balkins, and solid humbleness which is what hockey is all about...wishing Kotkaniemi a fantastic season, along with the Habs
Excellent reportage. Kiitos paljon!
I think that map is representing different ethnic areas in Europe rather than state borders. Still kind of funny though that they drew Finnish borders so off.

@@chiefskingdomsantos7912 Firstly im not laughing at the kids lets be clear on that. Now what i find "funny" as a Finn, is that the map of Finland that is shown (for example) at the 1:14 mark has Karelian isthmus being a part of Finland. Finland had to consede Karelia to Russia as a war reparations after winter war. If you want to know more abut winter war wikipedia has pretty decent article or there are multiple videos in youtube :)
I now understand more and didnt know. Makes sense now. We have 3 Finnish in our team and mock my words, Patrick Laine will be our next one. We will bring the Stanley Cup soon back to Finland. Big love from Montreal!
@@nathankennedy4263 Well, actually their channel Beyond the Press is more versatile. In Hydraulic Press they use an industrial tool - the press - which is used to compress stuff, to test their strength, or to compress them. Often to breaking point. It belongs to the RUclips channels 'Oddly satisfactory videos'. In Beyond the Press they test with blowtorches and liquid nitrogens etc. the extreme cold and extreme hot materials reacting to different environments. So they test physical extremes. Because of that, they even tested fidget spinners, how much they can take before they break. Or pour liquid oxygen to a lake, or red hot steel on ice - can it melt through the ice? But I mainly mentioned it, because there you will hear very extreme Finnish accent, so called 'Rally English', because first Finns to speak with such broad accent internationally were Finnish rally drivers, starting from 50s-60s. And it sounds awkward to many Finns, guess that's why this one guy said to not worry, you haven't missed anything :)
I mean we had Vyborg 1944. We live in now 2019 so I think dear Canada you should update your geography knowledge. EDIT: oh and there is island called åland. That's our too. I mean you had one job.
Pori is the Detroit of Finland. Not because they are good at hockey, or were good at it, but because of poverty, unembloyed people and high crime rate.
Yeah, but "the Detroit of Finland" has less crime than any town in the US, zero homeless people and top notch infrastructure with great and modern public schools.
If you do 10 minutes of research you can find out that Pori has decent employment rate when compared to rest of the country and while the crime rate is higher than average Pori is not among the most violent cities in the country so calling it Detroit is bit over exaggerating.

Having family in Pori I would say it's quite ugly industrial town by the sea ;) Ok in the short summer. Yes saunas everywhere in Finland.
mirkokupu must be from Rauma, nobody else would say something that stupid about Pori.
I've heard the stereotype before about Finnish people loving saunas, but having it at a hockey arena is just epic 👏😂

You might want to update your map lol, while we would be happy to have Viipuri and Karelia back it's unfortunately Russian territory.
Yep and Åland islands are still with us.
I think that map is representing different ethnic areas in Europe rather than state borders. Still kind of funny though that they drew Finnish borders so off.
Take them back. You kicked ass against the Soviets.
You’ll probably get it back one day so will Germany get Kaliningrad, Japan their islands etc. And I’m Russian
The highlight of Finnish territory for sure is Dorpat Peace Treaty of 1920. But the map itself is some kind of demographic map.
