- The 2024-25 season takes a step closer on Monday when Manchester United begin their pre-season campaign away to Rosenborg. Training for the new campaign has been underway for most clubs for a little while and preparations are gently being ramped up, despite last season not seeming so long ago and Euro 2024 finishing just 24 hours before this friendly. The squad making the trip has not yet been named yet but is expected to feature a number of youngsters, such as James Scanlon, Habeeb Ogunneye, Will Fish, Toby Collyer and Harry Amass. Ten Hag is expected to play two different XIs across the two halves with senior stars such as Marcus Rashford, Mason Mount and Andre Onana available. Harry Maguire has featured in pre-season training but it is not yet clear if heis fit to play after injury ended his 2023-24 season early. United will more than likely take a young side to Norway for the first of five friendlies this summer, which features trips to Edinburgh, Los Angeles and South Carolina before the Community Shield in just under a month’s time...

Im from Trondheim where Rosenborg plays and its so nice to see my favorite United coming here.
Nypan is one to watch, United should take a real good look at this kid.
Nyoan is a United-fan, but said he doesn’t want a move now. As long as he’s progressing his game, he wants to stay.
But I guess that United could always make a deal to loan him back or something.
Mason Mount will be ready for the friendlies before he gets injured for most of the actual season !

I can't lie, people won't like this but even though what Greenwood did was horrible, the way the club has treated him almost banishing from the training grounds he was at for 16+ years in the academy is disgraceful.
Forcing him to train in public sports centres in the eyes of the public is a joke. Even if he might not be staying, let him at least train in privacy on a seperate Carrington pitch.
