You did justice on this video!! Wow and wow, you constantly make amazing videos with great concepts. Hands down Celine definitely is the most consistent and rounded in the trinity!
Her Québécois accent gives an interesting spin on some of her phrasing and pronunciation. Occasionally her mixed range is slightly nasal, but a flawless voice in music, especially popular, is anodyne tbh. You always can recognise Celine's voice. And her french singing, even though I don't understand a lot of the lyrics is particularly impressive. For me personally she doesn't overdo the vocal runs... Like a certain member of the trinity
Do you think that "Queen of the PowerBallads" is enough to give justice to her talent? If I could rename her, " Vocal PowerHouse Queen" is more fitting to her
Because Vocal PowerHouse Queen isn't actually a unique term, especially when you compare it to Whitney (The Voice) and Mariah's (Songbird Supreme) titles
some of her notes sound so good her use of resonance in her most comfortable register (up to C#5-D5) is very good(3:55 that was very beautiful) then her throat starts to close and her larynx goes too high making her notes sound piercing her resonance loses all embellishment 😔. Her head voice suffers the same problem if her larynx was not so high it could have that chiaoscuro color that characterizes a good head voice and her low notes I already said it in the previous video analysis, I do not consider constriction as good low notes Good video😊
I don't think her head voice has the same issues as her belting her hv is way less tense and more free especially up to B5/C6 her lady isn't so high for most notes. And her lows are relaxed and optimal down to Eb3 depends on the days she can be airy tho.
@@allykelly It may be, it's that my head voice standards are very high, so it's very difficult for me to listen to an underdeveloped head voice, even so what I said before, from G#5 (in head voice ) her larynx is high, my problem is not her high larynx, high larynx is used in many vocal mechanisms, my problem is that it affects her resonance, and sorry but I only hear a lot of constriction is her lows☺️
@@mclambangel well Celine is a Pop singer her hv is still well developed for main stream compared to opera singers ofc it's underwhelming. Her G#5-C6 can carry enough depth it's not all thin sound. Her lows has lots constriction when she has prominent aspirations but she has lots of moments when she has lots of clarity and comfort
@@allykelly that is a false depth due to the use of the nasopharyngeal resonator, that is why in her head voice she chooses vowels like U and O, vowels that make it easier for the soft palate to go down, and when she tries another vowel she usually has more tension, I still don't hear good head voice from Céline but as I said my standards are very high when it comes to head voice😊
@@mclambangel well i don't hear false depth it's since her tongue wasn't too retracted. I don't hear the characteristic of nasal head voice of hers. The the Bb5 and C6-C#6 here we're done in Ee vowel but still not a shrill or thin hv it was effortless. And it's ok to have a very high standards but I'd still say her head voice is good for pop/mainstream
5:33 i think one of her raw E5, it's high larynx but still natural for her voice, we can clearly hear her natural voice density, still weighty and loud, brighter compared to her E5 in O Canada 5:23 her larynx is more neutral, and that's what makes her belt fuller and rounded.
@@allykelly i know that's why i said it's still natural for her voice including her larynx but according to the old technique, low larynx could make your voice bigger and darker if you're doing it properly

Whitney has done more things in dynamic like dal niente and more messa Di Voce but she did dynamics on her hv more often while Celine. Applies in on all of her registers so they're like tie IG?
Ailee is a good vocalist on her own but her hv, lows and agility is incomparable with Celine 😭 trust me, I have seen worse like someone literally said Ning Ning outsang celine 😭
I agree with pretty much everything. I would mention her lack of cord strength above D5/Eb5. She can rely on her throat at times, but I agree that people used to exaggerate about it. I heavily disagree on her hv. It's definitely not that developed and it certainly doesn't have depth.
I don't think she lack fold strength above Eb5 when the fact that she has proven herself being able to produce solid E5-F5 even F#5-G5 at best. For her hv how can you tell she has no depth? Her hv is one of the best in pop mainstream music behind Whitney it's just that above A5 she doesn't have a lot of materials but she has huge A5s and some micless moments in hv
@allykelly The lack of cord strength above Eb5 isn't much of an issue at all. I'd just mention it because she did have the tendency to push with her throat at times. Not very often, though. She was pretty consistent overall. Her hv is just behind Whitney? Nah, it isn't. It's good, sure, but the coordination is nowhere near as advanced. You can easily tell it sounds bright and not that full. Patti, Whitney, Lisa, Lara, and Vivian are examples of depth in this area. Celine's development in hv is more or less comparable to Sohyang's.
Queen of head voice is Lisa Fischer imo but she's not famous enough so she won't get that title by many unfortunately. But her head voice is no 1 imo. Whitney no 2.

Is this right for Kelly Clarkson's profile? Consistent Range: G3 ~ F5/F#5 ~ Bb5/B5 Voice Type: Soprano At Best: F#3 ~ G5 ~ C6 Type of Vocalist: Well rounded vocalist (WR), Strengths + No "weak" registers + Lows can be supported down to G3. (Huge improvement from Bb3) + Able to keep consistency up to F5/F#5 in belting/mix. + Head voice is consistent up to Bb5/B5 + Voice is somewhat agile, able to do semi-complex runs + Great sense of pitch + Amazing vocal stamina + Nice-controlled growls Weaknesses - Below G3, her lows can be muffed - Tends to get throaty and constricted in belting (stylistic I guess) - Mix is unbalanced; too chesty - Vocal runs can be too messy - Head voice becomes shrill above Bb5/B5
For her lower notes I feel like she’s gained a bit more freedom, weight and ease down to F3 in studio (Happier Than Ever) but that’s up to others that know better than me concerning an analysis.

WHERE DID YOU FIND THOSE ISOLATED VOCALS FROM YOU MAKE ME FEEL DIVAS 98??
We know Whitney's the Queen of HV but who's runner up Beyonce or Celine ?
Celine
Queen of head voice is Lisa Fischer imo but she's not famous enough so she won't get that title by many unfortunately. But her head voice is no 1 imo. Whitney no 2.
Neither
What is your standard of type of vocalists? Are there high range belters?
I don't prioritize range but technical development
My standard is having a solid lows good mid belt, head voice, and good agility

Is this right for Kelly Clarkson's profile?
Consistent Range: G3 ~ F5/F#5 ~ Bb5/B5
Voice Type: Soprano
At Best: F#3 ~ G5 ~ C6
Type of Vocalist: Well rounded vocalist (WR),
Strengths
+ No "weak" registers
+ Lows can be supported down to G3. (Huge improvement from Bb3)
+ Able to keep consistency up to F5/F#5 in belting/mix.
+ Head voice is consistent up to Bb5/B5
+ Voice is somewhat agile, able to do semi-complex runs
+ Great sense of pitch
+ Amazing vocal stamina
+ Nice-controlled growls
Weaknesses
- Below G3, her lows can be muffed
- Tends to get throaty and constricted in belting (stylistic I guess)
- Mix is unbalanced; too chesty
- Vocal runs can be too messy
- Head voice becomes shrill above Bb5/B5
Her consistency is actually
G3/G#3-E5/F5-A5/Bb5
@@allykelly how aout het prime?
@@Luke루크-u1y that's her peak too
Support is not quantifiable.
For her lower notes I feel like she’s gained a bit more freedom, weight and ease down to F3 in studio (Happier Than Ever) but that’s up to others that know better than me concerning an analysis.
TERRIBLE PASSAGIO FROM CHEST TO HEAD at 7:23. She just BREAKS the passagio. Lara's passagio is PERFECT, I watched an Opera Singer/Vocal Coach reacting to Lara singing "Broken Vow" and she said "Lara's passagio thecnique is untochable, we almost don't notice when she does it because it's perfect." the passagio note at 7:23 is very good. because...and above all more complicated than the g5 you were talking about from Lara...which makes a simple g5 magnificent yes but only 2 seconds....while Céline makes a superb A5 and very very long, several seconds. ./6/7).. you have to be realistic,
Céline breaks the passaggio because she has to catch her breath to sing this very very long A5 which is magnificent in its purity... you have to be objective, let's see

What is the difference between Mezza Voce and Messa Di Voce?
Messa di voce is a singing technique that requires sustaining a single pitch while gradually making the voice louder and then softer.
Mezza voce is a singing technique (especially as a direction) using about half the singer's vocal power.
mezza voce is just a use of half of the strength of the singer's voice while messa di voce is sustaining a note then gradually getting louder then softer

Ok but you chose the most random generic clips of her. Not even her best notes. This makes her look worse than she actually is.
Well this is an objective analysis. Technical comparative type of video so i used her good and bad clips
And i put some of her best clips too
@@allykelly I understand that. But this doesn't showcase her abilities well.
