In a world of noise, Eliud is clarity!
Man I going to steele your comment..good one😁👍👍
truly an entire team working behind this project from pacers, coach, nutrioninist, physio, teammates, spoonsors, etc, etc. everyone deserves credit
Great perspective. Team work 🙌🏾🇰🇪

"It gives us abnormal satisfaction, you cannot quantify it, to see an athlete grow"- Patrick Sang.
Let us not forget the tremendous job done by Patrick training Eliud for the past 18 years, this is a culmination of lifes work for the coach, should he clock 1:59, Patrick will have served mankind one hell of a meal. Thank you Patrick Sang.
Q
He made it!!
If anyone is writing a book on Eliud Kipchoge, I want the roughest draft because I cannot wait. This guy is AMAZING! I celebrate you Kipchoge.
The simplicity of their lives combined with their work ethic really is an inspiration to all not just runners but as individual as well.
Eliud dipping his biscuit in a cup of tea. Brings back memories of my own childhood.
I do the same thing too even though am an adult.
I actually just bought biscuits to do this literally hahahha
i think i'm the only person who has never done that lol, but when i saw it i just came to check the comments to see if someone noticed it.
Stop with that Proustian stuff
Legend only down to the earth 💪
Multimillionaire living like he is below the poverty line. True humanity.
truly a humble man.
they don't make nearly that much in the world of distance running, but he is still a very humble guy, very focused too
@@pepsiman9840 He's run 13 marathons and won 12 of those in the past 6 years(not including olympics and breaking 2). He made 240,000 in Berlin 2018. Distance running isn't lucrative in general but if you've won a ton of the big city marathons you will indeed be a multimillionaire.
@@toprightchannel3080 I guess youre right, but if he was a slower runner by a minute or 2 and wasn't part of the 2 hour project, he might not have been as successful financially
Ineos would have paid him a big amount.
Eluid the beast has officially awoken all the athletes 🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪
If you are watching this from year 3000 from mars or any other planet colonized by human in our solar system or any other solar system.....this is the greatest human being to have ran on Earth and you know what is awesome about it......it's that I was alive and watched him run....it was a great time to be alive.
Indeed Paul.. I watched his first failed attempt in Monza.. What an incredible human being.. He is an inspiration to all both in character and performance!!!
Watching him run is a true testament that the Supreme Intelligence does not make mistakes..
After watching Eliud during london marathon,i decided to be an athlete. The guy is motivational.Currently preparing for standard chartered marathon
Shemeji Entertainment
Right on bro
Go for it..the moment you finish that one you are hooked and you have a hole life in front 👌👌
What race are you running at standard charted
@@collinskimanthi709 ,10km i will be running standard chartered marathon

no wonder he succeeded, he is a very humble person
I need the song at 14:53 for my runs so i can pretend im running through Kenya like Eliud. Eliud greatest ever!
On Saturday I will be glued on my TV with my Kenyan flag cheering on our Kenyan brother, u can do it Eliud, I feel u will break the record. Can't wait. God be with u
@Grace and he made it.. He's a conquer
I’m so excited to see what you can do, Eliud! Get it, bro!
“I don’t know what the limit is but I’m excited to go there”
Miko Brown there is no limit!!!
Finally this guy has done it. ...many did not believe but he did it anyway!
This race makes my heart race. I don't know how his heart beats now.. go do us Kenyans proud Eliud. We believe in you. Super humble human.
Watching Kipchoge train gives me motivation to hammer out some workouts!
Eliud and his team are so inspiring! I wish the video producers had put more of their names in the subtitles.
David Grout
True! I could recognize Geoffrey Kamworor though.
Dude wtf I wanna run out in pack with a whole bunch of people like that, like we a herd of mf lions.
Humble humble humble humble
Being humble it's inspiring
Go Eliud go Eliud 1.58
I think 'modest' is a better term. Humble implies that it is wrong to feel proudness of succes. He is a very modest man.
I believe he´s going to do it.
Excellent video 10/10
Well said no human is limit we make our won limits, may ,God full field your drims Eliud
He did it, finished with a time of 1:59:40
@@Tanman-yl4oj Yeah!!! He is a legend!!
On October 12th, every runner in the world will be holding his or her breath. For exactly 2 hours it will be as if the earth stopped rotating. Even if he breaks the world record, but does not dip under 2h, it will be the greatest athletic performance in history.
Kipchoge always reminds me that race of 5000m he beat Bekele and El Guerrouj in 2003. He's a true legend.
that was 16 years ago, i have been a fan of his since then.
He lost to both the year after in the Olympics with El Guerrouj winning gold in a distance that is not his speciality. Kipchoge was still an excellent mid distance runner. It is in the marathon though where he imposed himself as the GOAT.
And he was only 18 years old!
Loved the series. Inspirational. Also great work by INEOS
Thoroughly enjoying Eliud’s journey 👍👍👍
Thank you INEOS for this kind of motivational project. The Monza was totally about brand & product. But this time, seeing their progress really make me want to run everyday & improve.
The most humble people on the planet with a work ethic like no other. Supporting each other into greatness. I wish the whole world could see these incredible humans. So inspiring to watch. And Eliud, I just know that this will be the year. You got this!!
16:58 wow the country is beautiful
The great Rift valley
God’s own country....
I'm praying for you, Eluid🙏🙏🇬🇭
Eliud is so good he might as well break 1:59. True inspiration.
He truly is the BOSS! You can see how he inspires his teammates. They respect & admire him deeply and will do everything they can to help him achieve the sub 2 time. Truly an awesome undertaking for Eliud and this Team! A genuine roll model for all people, athletes & non athletes
Scott Wills excellent observation 😊
"I don't know where the limit is, but I hope to go there." So humble but inspirational
Eliud has such lovely qualities even his opponents are pulling for him. Most gracious athlete that ever was.
I think he’ll actually do this. Such a humble dedicated guy who deserves to make history.
The music on these is so beautiful which fits perfectly with Kenya’s atmosphere.
I kmow right.. i want to know that last song while they are running that 40k
We love you Eliud, and we believe in you.
Who is here before Kipchoge tries the INEOS 1:59 (2hr mark breaker)?
Anyway People think than Marathon runners are slow. Try running that way for 2 consecutive hours and your vital organs will fail. Actually Eliud is VERY FAST.
He runs a 200m race at at a speed of 20-25 km per hour. He maintains that speed for 210 consecutive times with a smile on his face. That is totally superhuman. It will be out of this world if breaks that 2.
anddd he’s gone and done it. congratulations to eliud 💪💪
So happy they are making this documentary, the sub 2 marathon is the most insane feat of all time and no matter what happens choge has balls of steel
This guys are very humble and welcoming.
He's going to try again. The mad lad. So much respect.
Anyone here after Kenenisa Bekele's Berlin performance? Would be awesome to see him and Kipchoge go for it together next time if this doesn't work out
I'd like to see that too.
I think this is the only time I have watched a documentary of any sort to the end on my own..
I will really root for Eliud, I want to overcome the milestone, to meet the deadline at 01:59:00 to set a fantastic result. I will hold my fists ✊ for Eliud. Eliud K. Russia is with you! You are a great athlete, go ahead! Good luck with god
KENYANS, WILL WELCOME YOU FOR CEREBRATIONS
@@georgegitahi2419 thank 🙏🙌😁
@@love8867 He did 🔥🔥🐐🐐
Shows how humble these runners are (especially Kipchoge of course). The work and ability to do this level of running is extraordinary. I do hope the 2 hour mark is broken with plenty of room to spare. I also think in the not too distance future, Bekele is going to be right there nipping at his heals in the history books.
This series is inspirational on so many levels. The challenge itself is awe-inspiring, but it's the attitude of all the protagonists in this story that sets it apart. One of the gentlemen used the expression "abnormal satisfaction" in the context of seeing the returns of an investment in society. There's a humbleness and a generosity of spirit going on here that feels like an antidote to the arrogance on display in our daily news.
Eliud is such an amazing human being. Also all the pacers and coaches and all that is hapenning in the backround, amazing job, I really hope this comes out as a win, not only for eliud, but for everyone around and evryone supporting. Good luck
You and your group are very inspiring to a 75 year old runner
Every time I watch a video about him it's humbling. Knowing he has the money to move somewhere with the elite level facility and training equipment
Perfect training conditions. Variety of training methods, Higher altitudes, varied terrain from track and trail and a really great team with lots of smiles!!
Power to you eliud
You can do it Eliud!!!
I just want to hug him. Bless you man.
Just a fantastic guy who gives a humility lesson for everyone. I really hope that he will reach the target, he deserves to be THE ONE who did it!
This is Exciting! I just hope he is feeling 100% the day of the run. I really want to see what he's capable of doing!
Very humble, determined and focused.
i got challenges, and goals of my own, watching this
man's life, its making it so much easy achieving it.
I really like how happy everyone of them look. so calm, so peaceful, having fun, running
Humbled by their humility.
I wish 1:59 challenge went viral insted of cinnamon, chubby bunny, pass out, tide pod challenges and similar crap
Ivan Miletic so do I but it’s not like everyone (or anyone) is even capable of 1:59 except this man maybe
@@HSpartaL it doesn't have to be sub 2 hour marathon, it could be half marathon, 10 000m, whatever fits you
And how would you expect people to complete it lol, such a stupid comment.
@@ATLTraveler thank you 😊
Lol
Such an inspiration, really hope he breaks 2 hours. Love watching him run, he looks so relax and smooth, effortless. Yet the speed he is running at is insane, 400m is hard at his target pace, nevermind a marathon!!
What a humble and hardworking guy, his story is just inspiring.
Eliud kipchogi i have the honor and gratitude for you 💪👍✋👍
I’ve been so inspired by Eliud and his team.
Truly inspirational to watch, I cannot wait for the 12th!!
I love seeing men Working together ...big up the whole team good job
What an inspiration, the humility 🙏, proudly Kenyan
The team is united ,Amazing training ,All the very best Eluid
Are you the guy who was paced during last weeks testing weekend in Vienna? If so, can you tell me why there is a photo of you crossing the finish line with the clock showing 1:59:38 - Does that mean you have already done it? Surely not, otherwise INEOS159 challenge would not need to take place anymore.
@@ReXzz it was a replica of what Eliud will be trying he did not actually run the whole race
@@khaledkourrini4660 yes but how much of a replica has it been? That's what I'd like to know :D
@@ReXzz The pacers are going to be rotating. No pacer is going to go the whole distance.

I love the language they speak (swahili)
Actually on this video they are mostly speaking Kalenjin.
Yes, it's lovely. They do a mix of Kalenjin - Kipchoge's native tongue - and Kiswahili.
You guys are amazing!!! Wish all of the best and God bless you all!! Eliud you will made it!!
If there's one man that can, it's him!!!
Eluid Kipchoge kept me awake on this day and i am happy he broke the 2 hour barrier.
He is one reason i enjoy Athletics and why am now Part of the Corparate Athletics for my organization.
History of Eliud can tell 1:59 is possible to break Without doubt.
He's a great guy but the amount of pressure he must be under is incredible after all this work was put into this project

Speedwork - the icing on top of the marathon training cake.
There was no speedwork in this video. What you saw is their easy run pace.
When I see my fellow countrymen do this, with all the betrayal they face, it makes me want to become a better person everyday
This guy is really amazing, breaking the record challenge
I can watch this video million times and would get motivated everytime!
Another great episode in the journey. What a stellar team
He did it.
Jamais je n'aurai pensé qu'Eliud Kipchoge aurait une telle carrière ! Sa très belle victoire au mondiaux de 2003 me paraissait être sans lendemain. Je me suis trompé. Il est de la classe de Gebre, Tergat, El Guerrouj, Bekele. Cet athlète lache rien est un génie.
Seems like such a great positive group of guys
I believe in Eliud and extremely proud being part of history
Kenya is a magic country! We trust in you running magic!)
