0:15 Pretty sure it was not wind, because the wind sock seems to be down.
*Damn pesky runway winds*
Certainly not winds. the windsock indicates the weather is calm
Thank you for hearting my comment Swiss001! I've been supporting your channel for years and this is my first time getting a heart!
{Server} Windsock has left the chat.
@@agustinusreynaldi7101 hell yeah, wake turbulence, right?🤣
Funny thing is, I was up at Bristol airport today, the main reason for the hard landings is the amount of wind there, since it's on the top of a hill, the wind there is horrible, and the reason they can't extend the runway is also because it's on the top of a hill, and that it's just ryanair
First video: That's not Korean Air 777
It's *koRYAN AIR 777*
Genius
Lol
Lol so true XD

Ryanair: that is the most smooth landing we never seen in our entire life
Ya
XD
Ya
if you don't know Ryanair has made soft landings
Wow
0:44 OMG thanks for reacting
Nice
OMG WELL DONE!!!
congrats
lol hello
I never understood how bad a landing could be until my second flight ever from Chicago to Philadelphia. It honestly felt like we stalled on the runway (tarmac to the media *_*)
Once i was on a norweegan 737MAX and we stalled and the landing gear broke
@@joory0did the plane survied tho? And im late
@@Earth_rings it’s been a year when he/she replied 😂
@@Earth_rings we were on Ethiopian airlines a320 we stalled on the runway the front gear broke we hit the nose down and the plane broke the upper place on the cockpit but there was no injuries luckily
Airplane: Omg so hard landings you need to land smother!
Ryanair: That wear good landings!
5:37 that looks for me like an ilyushin il-96. First it's a Cubana de Aviacion plane and Cubana only has il-96s. Second the left and right landing gears in the A340 are tilted fowards and the center one backwards, the il-96 has no tilt in the left and right ones and the center one is tilted fowards, like on the image.
Mum: why that landing was so hard?!
Me: RyanAir...
ahhahahahhahahhhahahahahha so funny
I know, this joke is very old tho

😂😂😂😂😂
the md 80 was a test swiss is right
@@contentnotavailabIe bro its a joke
6:14 I think the pilot just trying to use that big delta wing of Tu 144 to get aerodynamic drag and I think it's a common way in Soviet Union to stop the airplane. Il-62 use that technic I guess
2:11 Rick Astley In the back
As a person who doesn’t live too far from Bristol Airport, I can say that the runway isn’t that long but not is it too short. They can operate A330s operated by Wamos Air and 787s which they do fly here during the summer operated by TUI . They used to also operate 757s so you know it must’ve been bad weather. You could see it was quite cloudy which is relatable to the uk 😂
20% - Ryanair
80% - Other airlines
Damn Ryanair has other friends?
Who knew, this is amazing time to land upside down
No! The other planes are ryanair's friend but the other planes were good landing until Ryanair become their friend ;-;
6:28 LOL WHAT? burger king foot letuce lol
i still laughing at that lol
Korean air pilot in the interrogation room: "I'm so sorry I landed like that it will never happen again

0:16 see that calm wind sock in the middle of the scene?🤣🤣 There's no wind
2:11 I remember Swiss001 react to this
The avro landing in London city I saw spoiler at the tail deployed causing loosing altitude making hard landing
4:47 Sunlight reflection to the smoke
yes
Can we appreciate how much top gear was reccomended to Swiss
Korean001 has been real quiet ever since…
Yea right...
Yea lol
But what if korea001 replies to this...
If y'all wonder why Ryanair makes hard landings , well
1. It's about the pilot ( not so experienced pilot , or a young pilot )
2. Short runway ( sometimes , since a budget airlines can't just land on let's say Heathrow airport )
3. It's either the weather that is actually making the landing hard
ME ENCANTA VER A SWISS HABLAR ESPAÑOL

Estoy de acuerdo
Thats actually a pretty good idea lol
0:16 yeah sure the wind is so strong that you see the wind catcher thingy all the way on 😳
Yah.
It’s also called a windsock just so you know
Swiss001 mistaking a 747-400 for a 747--SP.
Me: Allright...
Swiss001 mistaking an Il-96 for an a340.
Me: Allright this is personal.
RYANAIR: Take notes.
it surprises me that, that one Atlas 747 landing isnt here. And i have flown once from Bruxelles south Charleroi Airport(Charleroi - Belgium) towards Girona Costa - Brava(Girona - Spain) and back with Ryanair. I didnt have that bad of landings but the way back while landing at Charleroi we had a kinda hard landing 5/10
4:05
Swiss001: Emirates is really know for hard landings.
Emirates with a380s: *AM I A JOKE TO YOU*
He said isnt really known
1:30 swiss001: probably a lot of winds and stuff
me: and a lot of ryanair
That emirates landing was a little harder than my blue air pilots landing at EGLL from bucharest airport
Swiss001: That was a Hard landing
Not so matured me: That’s what she said 😂😂😂
First one, the Korean 777 it wasn't windy as you can see in 0:16 the wind sock isn't moving, Captain Joe talks about this and this landing was a matter of the Flare and poor communication from the pilot and co pilot.
EDIT: I recommend you watch that video which explains it a bit further.
5:46 it is a il86 not an a340
Me: butter is butter
My freind: crash landing is BUTTER
I think first one’s place is NRT(Narita International Airport). That place have very strong wind in spring.
And I’m not good at English sry ; )
The first clip
Swiss001: the wind probably caused that
The windsock: Am I a joke to you
0:07 Ryan Air : nah that was butter
Had a flight from Heathrow to Boston Logan on a BA A380 a few months back; hit the tarmac so hard that it caused a a kitchen door to fly open
The Ryanair landing is like what do you want your life or butter landing.. which is impossible.

0:28 the cone thing on the airport did not show that there is wind 😅 idk tho maybe im wrong
yep, u r not wrong. Capt joe also did a video about it, saying that it was actually pilot error... good video tbh
It’s called a windsock

bristol airpot is small it is my local airport go there when i can but can confirm many hard landings
Yay my local airport Bristol is in one of your videos. Even with the short runway I’m still amazed that the 787 operates there with tui
Indeed
2:48 Kinda looked like a windshear or something like that but holy moly these passengers have half their bones fractured.

Swiss001: we can hear some wind noices
Me wearing mine: where noice
Swiss001- blames every hard landing on the winds
6:15 the tupolev looks lika a depressed eagle trying to touch the ground.
i saw the oringinal video a year back. the pilot actually was demonstrating oscillations
5:35 I would say that plane is an İlyushin il-96 as it had Cubana livery..

5:10 *Achievement Unlocked! When The Drift Is Real*
2:45 why did swiss watch a rickroll in the corner by the facecam
5:37 IL-96, the new A340 according to Swiss

0:07 a typical Ryanair landing... wait it's not Ryanair? WHAAAAAAAAAAT???!?!?
What's worse is my landing on Infinite Flight
"Crash Landing"
4:17 that pilot is me
I think I was in that plane lol
hey Swiss, you must check the Korean Air Kai Tak landing it is the best landing ever
Hey swiss in the 1st clip the pilot and the co pilot were actually fighting controls
And there was no wind bc the sock was down
You should use the tu-144 in the flight simulators
Swiss001 likes the grand tour/top gear or maybe he just watched the airport rant
In the first clip there were very low winds. You can see the windsock is hanging nearly straight down.
Bruh the Royal Air Maroc was a 747-400 (it was not nearly as short as an SP and it had winglets), the Cubana was an IL-96-300, Cubana has never operated A340s, and Emirates has never operated A350s, and most aircraft have external cameras, just the A350 is famous for the tail cam (which the A380 has as well). The A330, A340, 777, 787 and A380 all have external cameras of many varieties.
In the first clip, of the Korean triple 7, there were no winds. Right before you land you can actually see the kite thingy
Who remembers old Swiss when he used to use texts? man it’s feels like yesterday😌
When Swiss defends Ryan air on a bad landing
@Swiss001 The first clip there is not much WIND! Look at the red-white thing, that shows the direction of the wind!
Swiss: The 777 landing was hard due to crosswind.
Me: The windsock is totally still, so there was no crosswind...
bruhhhhhhh
Are you deaf?because even me who has a very low level of English i can understand what he is saying and he said WINDSHEAR no crosswind
I saw a video that came out on the 5 of august where a Boeing 737-300 did a really hard landing at PBH (or Paro airport), at the start of the video you can see the aircraft was quit unstable and this gets reinforced when the pilots get a bank angle warning. When the pilots line up with the runway, they get repeated sink rate warnings, thus leading to them to touching down on the runway quit heavily. At one stage I personally thought it might of been better to go around, but the pilots decided to land. Fortunately the plane was only a cargo plane, but even then I would probably consider it to be one of the worst/hardest landings I have ever seen in commercial aviation.
Link to the video if you want to watch it: ruclips.net/video/XXfJfqh-mIM/видео.html
When the plane does not want to touch down its called the Ground Affect
Lol Swiss001 look at the wind socket of the vid of the Korean landing. No winds at all.
The ryan air landing was like my landing at singapore
Me in playing infinite flight: oh that's weird smooth
With that Koreanair 777 there was no wing you can tell that because the wind sock which was in view isn’t moving if there was wind it would be moving so that pilot of generally a bad pilot
I slowly start believing that swiss001 has no idea about aircrafts, first he thinks that 777 is a350 and then 747sp 🤣🤣🤣 (just joking man)
Also the plane at 5:40 was an Ilyushin IL-96 not an A340
ngl I feel like on the videos where it shows the window veiw, some people just fling there camera down to simulate a landing being super hard. But idk lol. 4:02
in MSFS2020 i tried a 32 knot cross wind landing in a VL-3... it did not go well.
0:34
swiss001: i think i know exactly what happend here '' sOmE wInDs HeRe''
me: have you noticed that there are no winds?
0:16 lol that the wind thing
"We already know this place for being the worst approachable airport"
Saint barths: *am i a joke to you?*
Nick: A340
Ilyushin il-96: sad russian noises
In my oppinion the worst landing is the Boeing 747 at the "you can always go around" song
0:36 There are definitely no Wind. If you look on the Windsock.
0:18 some winds there
wind sock:
i am a joke to u
5:38 i think its a Ilyushin Il-96,looks like a340-600
Video Idea: "Does the Boeing 727 Really need 3 engines?"
He uploaded it.
LOL, actually on the first clip there wasn't a lot of wind at all. If you look closely to the windsock, you can spot how less wind there is blowing. Seems not to be more than about 5 knots to me.
Can u try landing the airbus a340 because its smaller and it has four engines so it could stop good
Ryan air: we paid whole runway we destroy whole runway
ryanair joke number 261936972972
4:30 that is at Boeing 747-400!!
0:10 wow
@swiss001 btw on 00:07 you can see the the wind stock is not full meaning the plane is not hitting any crosswinds I think that the pilots where fighting over the controls like maybe pilot wanted to land and co pilot wanted to go around and did that Continuously did that until the wanted to land
Btw this is not really a brief but just wanted to let you know but you must of glitched because you fly a cirrus sr22 or sr20 so that’s why I think you made a mistake
Btw the wind stock was on gear right rear gear on the right flap in engine number 2
Nobody gonna talk about the md80 that snapped in half...
6:04 bruh Ryanair flies to belfast international and belfast city what 😭 they don’t rlly fly to the small airports where I live at least
