Airstream Axle Replacement

Axle replacement on Airstream Excella. Axles upgraded to 5000lb never lube axles with 32* of drop. Lots of things to be aware of if you are considering this upgrade. 1. Steel wheel pilot hole is too small to fit on the never lube hub. 2. The extra drop plus possible mounting hole errors can make shocks too short and limiting downward travel of axle.
I purchased from High Sky RV parts. I was not pleased with the experience and won’t be I’m using them in the future.

It's not really HigSky, it's just a Dexter-problem, apparently they changed the dimensions over time. I had to cut the frame also because the original tube were 2 3/4" and the new ones were 3 3/16", which was a little annoying because I hate cutting a frame. Sorry about the neverlube size problem and the wheels, the easy lube fits into the wheels perfectly. I didn't get never-lubes after watching your video, so thank you for that. It seems a little painful to have these anyway if you want to do something on the brakes

I havent ordered from High Sky since. but the axles are working just as advertised. Still wouldnt order from them again though.
