    The extra cost to fix the electricals after a nasty crash will be tasty.

      Its not hard to fix. Not much to them. We have more electrical shit on our motocross bikes and its literally zero problem. And yes we crash way harder

      @@sciencemilitia1853 You don’t really crash harder. Genuinely too. Mountain bikes can go faster than your engine depending on the trail

      @@TewJyadscgew-do6ne I race downhill and also race motocross. There are very few MTB trails in the world that are as gnarly as an average motocross track. And bo.. the MTB downhill land speed record is barely higher than an average bone stock 450 motocross bike's top speed.

    Made kenevo expert a full dh rig! Put a 200mm airspring in the boxxer and bought a 230x65 coil shock and an air shock also. Both super deluxe ultimate. Gives me 187mm rear travel! I love it! Do everything on that bike!

    That thing looks horribly heavy. And you take the cable car in bike parks anyways, no one is pedalling up 1200 meters of elevation several times a day, not even with an ebike

    This is awful.
    Why not just get a bikepark/freeride bike?
    190mm of coil sprung plush, good angles, and 12spd to winch you back to the top.
    I built a 190mm cube hanzz. Yes its heavy, but its lighter, less fragile & cheaper than this.

    why does a dh bike that can pedal need to be an e bike? hypothetically speaking what if you put a dropper and a 12 speed on a dh bike and tested it, i bet it would pedal horribly but it would get the job done just very slowly

    • @g.w.customcreations3534
      @g.w.customcreations3534 Месяц назад

      Done exactly this. 190mm coil shock on a freeride bike. Dropper. 12spd. 4 pot brakes. It's basically a downhill biased enduro.
      Winch up, plummet down. 💪🏻

    Or..............an emoto instead? We're edging towards that territory, surely? The cost is getting pretty close. An emoto will get you up the hill faster, just that you probably can't ride trail centres and bike parks on them.

    Always wondered when I rode downhill a few years ago if they made something to replace the shock to give you the same feel as a hardtail ? If say you couldn't afford a second bike and you had a budget. Or is it not just the case of removing the shock with something solid 🤔
