Chicago Balinese Gamelan - Tari Pendet

Founded in 2017, Chicago Balinese Gamelan is a nonprofit organization that creates high-intensity, exciting, quality performances while introducing and engaging the public with Indonesian culture, music and dance through performances, lectures and interactive workshops. The ensemble rehearses year-round at its studio at MANA Contemporary in Chicago's Pilsen neighborhood.
The health and safety of our performers is CBG's top priority. This performance was pre-recorded before Illinois' stay-at-home order and was recorded in small groups, social distanced, while wearing masks.
