    I used this on my eyes for when I was initially treating my blepharitis, and it helped so much in getting it under control. I recommended it to a friend who was breaking out all over due to sweating at work, and it worked great for her too.
    I also used it back in the day in ointment form for my mice when I had a bully who was beating up her tank mates to help their wounds heal, since it's so gentle and is non-toxic.
    All anecdotal, and it's not a cure-all, but when it works it works.

    Hypochlorous acid can easily be made with non iodized salt and water via electrolysis. Ph adjusted with vinegar. The countertop machine is right around $100 and makes about a liter at a time. In comparison to the price of a single 8 oz bottle, the machine is worth every penny.

      I don't know if she backs it but I started using skin smart facial clenser one and it's a good price in comparison to some others. It's a big 8 oz bottle which bigger than alot of them and is only 17 bucks. It's helped with my irritation and with my acne when I use 2-3 times daily on a regular basis. I still get some breakouts but I'm loving it and its really seems to be helping me. I think I will forever be using a hypochlorous acid unless I stop being acne prone randomly at some point. lol

      I bought a Force of Nature system, I make up a batch every few weeks and have a small spray bottle in my purse, and spray bottles in my bathroom and kitchen. It, like bleach, is not a stable compound and degrades quickly with time (and from light, temp, etc) so be wary of the effectiveness of these store-bought versions unless they’re stabilized, packaged/stored appropriately, and have tight expiration dates.

    • @sumlem
      @sumlem 8 месяцев назад +2

      It's a disinfectant so it's not intended to lighten skin tone. It can help cool down your skin if you're feeling hot as well. Melasma can be worsened in the heat like in saunas so this has potential to alleviate the heat, but so can water and it won't directly help with hyperpigmentation.

      It's not a junk product at all. Lol it's used in hospitals and wound clinics and infectious disease offices for wound care and management. Lol. If it works for acne is person dependent. Personally i have used it to help clear up mrsa abscesses. And I use it every time I wash my face and let it sit dry before putting on my facial lotion. It has prevented any new abscesses for over 1.5 years now. And I use it on any cuts or open wounds me or my family gets to clean them out. Also if we have eye irritation from allergies or something. A compress on the eye really helps. Def not a scam product. Just make sure you buy it from a reputable source. Probably not tiktok...
