You’re not forced to go fast forward. You’re holding down the buttons which makes it speed up. If you don’t push anything it moves at normal speed
Yessss this game ruled. The Alien vs. Predator one from '94 was sick too.
I gotto mention Cadillacs and Dinosaurs aswell.
AvP was the best one though .
I think he played AvP but he didn't explore the combos much, I know there's some ancient videos floating around of people actively taking the xenos to the cleaners...
@@Ugo2sleep Caddilacs is fun as hell
@@boyikaruz8415 yeh that game deserves to be far better known about
L0lll0)is is ❤❤
Finding this in a Greyhound bus station was an incredible moment for me. This and AvP are so great.
Long before Marvel embraced the fighting games made by Capcom, this Final Fight-styled game became the stepping stone on how Marvel and Capcom forged their partnership. This game has mad skills once you get used to it.
I was so surprised when the thing you picked up that looked like a fire extinguisher started shooting flames out. Didn't expect that at all.
Justin was doing moves I didn’t know you could do. It’s deeper than I thought. I remember AvP was even more like that. I didn’t know AvP had mad depth until decades later watching other ppl on RUclips.
cant believe jwong dropped the "captain caaaaaavveeeemaaaaannn.... and son!" reference had to drop a like for that
One of the only arcade games I've 1CCed on the hardest difficulty! I absolutely love this game and wish more were made like it
That’s a great feat. To this day the only game I ever 1cc’d is SSF2 Turbo and that’s mostly because I cheese wall dive and rolling crystal flash with Claw 🤷🏽♂️
They were, AVP and Cadillacs are both of this same quality
@scurfy9356 as well with Fight'N Rage, Streets of Rage 4, and TNMT:SR. There need to be more great beat 'em ups!
@@MrDesrot idk if u already know but remakes of beat em ups have been showin up on steam. i haven't dropped the money yet but streets of rage and tmnt have new generation entries into the genre that look good
@@MrDesrot I would argue that streets of rage 4 is nowhere near this level of genius, which puts your other suggestions in doubt.
It was both an honor and very fun getting to talk to you today in Daytona and receiving those words of encouragement!
I remember playing it during my highschool days at a small arcade cabinet nearby. I also remember trying to beat the game once and putting an big amount of credits just to die at simili-terminator mob, without any more money nor time to finish it. But yeah, it was and still is a really good beat em up.
I played this with my niece when I first heard of Mame like early 2000's. When Nick Fury did his super move, she would say he was screaming "The world now!" The world now indeed.
I was going to say Tatsunoko Vs Capcom was the most underrated but this game earned that title.
I still regret not getting TvC. I was hoping for a price drop, but all the copies at local stores were bought. I should have just paid full price.
Great video!! Love this game! As a huge Punisher game I was happy to see this in arcades back in the day! One of my favorite beat em ups!
For me the best beat em up Capcom ever produced. Extremely entertaining gameplay and the perfect length for a beat em up.
I'm loving these beat 'em up videos. Violent Storm and Night Slashers are another couple great games to check out.
The Punisher threw and elderly mafia boss into a window head 1st multiple times until she finally smashed through the window and out of the building.
He also threw that same lady into a polar bear pen where the polar bear left her with stumps for arms and legs.
The Punisher is brutal as hell lol
Well I never expected a captain caveman reference lol
So glad you made it to this game. Punisher, Aliens Vs Predator, and Cadillacs and Dinosaurs are the kings of capcom beat them all ups.
I remembered dropping loads of quarters at the local 711 gas station with friends back in the good old days. This cabinet was right next to SF2. Cut a few lawns and you got money for a slushy and a good summer game day.
Love this game. Wish Aliens vs Predator would get a release.
Capcom arcade stick by Koch media if you have the money.
this game was a gem in the arcades. definitely one of the top beatem ups of the era.
9:00 Captain Caveman...good times...
The tightly knit video games, comic book and anime scene in the 90s was formative to most of my adult tastes. What a cool time....
there used to be an arcade version that game where they a cheat code. If you ever met one of these raincoat guys with machine guns (can't remember if it was with the red one or the yellow one), you had to grab him and shake him back and forth without hitting him and it unlocked cheat that allowed to finish the whole stage without being hit, every enemy you met would just die, including the boss of the stage.
Imagine if Capcom made this game today ? Everyone would be dressed in bright pink, and the Punisher would be Cammy 😂
Lmfao!!
Holy crap, i remember this game! Thanks again, Justin!
You know it's safe to say Justin Wong is my favorite RUclips content human, He's just so real and wholesome such a passion with what he does and bring so much value to the world, appreciate you Brother 👊 🔥
Welcome to the party Capcom had the beat'em ups in a choke hold
I really liked Cadellics and Dinosaurs as well. The elevator music is great!
Capcom were the king of beat em ups back in the 90s!
This game is the first Marvel's game created by Capcom.
All I heard when I saw the thumbnail was memories of constant loudass "BWOEh BWOEh BWOEh BWOEh sounds. That game was awesome.
Best beat'em up of all time. Fantastic video, thank you!
I remember playing this in the arcades. Good times.
Hey Justin, have you missed out on other dope beat-em-ups Batman Returns (SNES) and Dragon's Crown (PS3/PS4)?
This game needs to be rereleased!
@@CMCAdvanced
Yeah, I know...
That javalin is probably a refrence to the ghost and goblins video game, which was also made by capacom.
Damn justin playing the classics! Ya gotta keep going trough these xD
You must try Knights of Valour just very exciting 😅
I absolutely love the punisher on PS2 still waiting for a sequel or a remastered version of it
A sequel was cancelled and the developer shut down some time after. There's some concept art and a little info on the cancelled sequel on the internet
Love those Samuel Jones movies.
Accurate title. I still place this over AvP and the other famed Capcom beat-em ups.
➡➡+Attack will do a roll into a powerful side kick, ala Ryu in SFIII.
But yeah man. This game brings back memories and would love for you to cover more of these, as they're so fun to watch and helps bring out those nostalgia feels.
OH! And I just looked it up and he says "TIGER ROAR" for his special.
I waited almost 30 years to find that out, and all it took was a basic ass google search on my end. 😂
When I first played this, I was hooked after the first stage boss. Punisher blew his (the boss) whole fuckin face off on a bus.
This along with AvP and Battle Circuit must be the best beat-em-ups made by capcom, at least as far as how much you can do in the game.
One of the best beat ‘em ups. The weaponry. The bosses.
Samuel L. Jones LOL Gotta love it Justin keep doing what you do
They had this at my barber shop growing up, good times but I think I spent more time on the pinball machine
Punisher is so sick. Top tier beat em up for sure.
You can actually go out of bounds in that elevator. Not sure if it changes based on the version. Once you do you are invincible and have one hit kills. Kingpin freaks out in the ending though.
15:17 Samuel L Jones??? That must be Jackson’s cousin or stunt double
oh yeah. samuel jones? i love all his stuff 😂 almost no one else caught that.
Thanks. I have good memories of The Punisher.
The boss music sounds like a faster remix of technotronics pump up the jam. Just like the first level in streets of rage 1.
Fighting Kingpin is as exhilarating as tossing Bowser in SM64. 💪
Absolutely sick. I love this, along with Alien vs Predator and Armored Warriors. The Cps1 really had some underrated gems, like Varth and Mercs.
Cadillacs and Dinosaurs also
@@Ugo2sleep Yeah but thats more commonly known, like Final Fight.
I wish Punisher appeared in the Marvel vs Capcom Origins collection...
15:18 Justin summoning some Rich Evans.
I remember playing that in arcade when I was a kid.
Was waiting to this, the moment JWong in Punisher.
The side scrolling of Romance of the 3 kingdoms and alien vs predator.
The fact that The Punisher was not in a Marvel vs. Capcom game is something I still don't understand to this day. Here's a suggestion, though. Someone from the modding community should consider adding him in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3. The character? Chris Redfield. His moveset, along with his character model, would be perfect.
Maaaaaan I'm gonna miss seeing the arcades and stuff in the background :( was a warmer, more natural than that plain black background... Still, I'm here for the games lol and The Punisher slaps! When I discovered it a while back through emulation I played it no stop for a week, and The Punisher is no hero, is an antihero, he's not above killing or torturing evil doers. That's why makes this game so cool, you can use guns and all kind of weapons and you see him executing mobsters
I couldn't find the ROM, didn't realize this was from a CPS1 board. Looks damn good for a CPS1 game.
Yooo I totally forgot about this game. One of my favorite games as a kid.
Samuel L. Jackson and Tommy L. (Lee) Jones did a fusion as both Nick Furys.
This game absolutely ATE quarters.
I use to love playing this on sega genesis. Memories
5:22 hit you with the Mario jump
Hopefully, if we ever get a Marvel vs. Capcom collection in the vein of the Street Fighter and Capcom fighting game collections, this game gets included - it's not a fighting game, but as Capcom Fighting Collection shows, the games can be thematically related like Super Puzzle Fighter II.
Capcom did do a collection with this and Alien vs Predator. It was a stand alone controller in the shape of the Capcom logo.
LOL, Samuel Jones... you made me spit out my egg salad.
Love that game, played through the whole thing a few weeks ago
Damn, used to play this on Sega Channel all the time in the 90s
Now you're playing a classic. Used to play in the arcade.
Be sure to try Aliens Vs. Predator.
Yeah. More beat em ups. Hope to see you play Ghost Chaser or Denjin Makai for the Super Famicom. That's pretty much the Guilty Gear of beat em ups and it's equally as good as Battle Circuit. Hope to see you play coop with your daughter in the future.
i miss the good old beat'em ups
Everyone needs to know that before Samuel Jackson was Nick Fury David Hasselhoff was the Nick.
Scully is Dana Scully's cousin in X-Files.
God I love this game. Pun Pun's the best
Always wondered what the hell are the 2 protagonist saying when they join/do the super as a kid, never got the answer.
All these years later I have no idea why punisher says “BYE DUH Boo!” Or w/e
Who among us *doesn't* long for those days when men were men, when cheap mooks could get bodied repeatedly on a moving vehicle, beaten with a splintered club, sliced indesriminantly with a katana -- even impaled on an unlucky lance -- yet, taking pride in their work and themselves, rise again to their feet? Bravo!
I feel like Mr Castle is long overdue for a new vidya game. Whether we talking like a beat em up, something more Max Payne-ish or a mix of the two.
i was hoping justin would also play nick fury and pull out some nice flash kicks
Holly shit justin the way u play beat em ups u barely die ur able to make to boss levels without dieing
The last beat em up I played was that new turtles game. You should try it out Justin
Samuel...... Jones?
Come on Justin.
captain cave man and son :D
Literally my favourite game of all time ❤
You played this game on your marvel super heroes arcade 1up cabinet back in 2019
4:25 *OH God...THAT boss...*
You should play ninja baseball batman and try all 4 characters! That game is sick!
I used to play this game on the sega channel!
Capcom D&D game Dungeons of Mysteria is way underrated
"Beat'em ups always seemed cheap to me" said the guy who only played them using emulators...
Captain CAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAVEMAAAAAAAAAN!
...and son!
"Samuel Jones" lol
My man said Samuel L Jones 😂
Samuel Jones is crazy😂
"capcom just forgot"
more like license issues
like cadillac and dinossaurs
those games has a REALLY Thin chance to be remade bcuz of that
Cadillacs and Dinosaurs is my favourite.
Great vid!
Just one thing. It’s Samuel L Jackson….not Jones 😂
Aloha!
Music by Yuzo Koshiro.
Most underrated Capcom game is UN Squadron.
