There's a little part on Abby's reaction to the first dance moms episode, where Chloe is standing in front of the mirror and posing, and on Abby's reaction even tho she doesn't say anything, she start smiling just looking at her, and I think that was really sweet. I wish the show would never happen because it pushed everyone way to much, and caused the big fights

The saddest thing is that when Chloe was little, she so obviously admired Abby a lot and looked up to her. When someone you look up to starts to constantly put you down it's just heartbreaking.

All the kids did. That's what is so sad. She was their teacher, and they wanted her validation, support, and encouragement. The only student to reliably get that was Maddie. So many times those girls had crestfallen, sad looks on their faces when Abby treated them poorly.

She liked Chloe. But Christi was undermining her and eventually the influence was too big for it to not impact teaching Chloe- when Chloe started repeating what her mother was saying it was a big problem. If Abby doesn't accept it from Christi she can't accept it from Chloe. In season 4 she was not an ALDC student so she didn't take priority.

Yeah that was edited because Abby mocked her eye, and Chloe had a medical condition with her eye) in another episode, which that clip was also edited out….she said to Chloe’s face that she would destroy her and her family. She even admitted that because she hated Christi and Chloe so much, and due to the strict contracts which meant that Chloe and Christi couldn’t leave so easily….Abby made it her mission to make them miserable because she knew that they couldn’t leave….and she seemed happy to admit it. Abby claims that money changed the Lukasiak’s (they started getting paid way more in the later seasons) yet Abby is the one who went to jail for fraud. The first time that Chloe won 1st place on the show and, beat Maddie…..Abby literally tore her down a few days later, just when Chloe had a bit of confidence in herself because she didn’t want Chloe to get cocky when Chloe was never anywhere close to being cocky, and was always so respectful and sweet. Also, there was one episode where Chloe beat Maddie again, and Abby couldn’t handle that so she went to the judges to try and change the scores….not only did the judge come into the room and announce that there was a mistake, and that Maddie actually won, but the judge literally admitted that Abby brought it to his attention, and Abby so relaxed and care free was like “oh well” and could not only hear it in Chloe’s but you could see it in her face that she was hurt. I think in season 1 or 2, Abby told Maddie that Chloe would never be happy for her meanwhile in season 2 when Chloe won 1st place, she literally said in her interview that she hoped that Maddie was happy for her, because she’s always happy for Maddie. Idk what Abby had against Chloe, but it seemed like everyone in the studio was allowed to beat Maddie and get first place besides Chloe.

Actually that’s not true…..According to Chloe and her mother, and Abby herself….Chloe barely saw Abby for even 30 minutes of her time dancing tag the ALDC and this was way before the show was even a thing. Abby wouldn’t spend that much time with her at all. Even the original girls have admitted that Abby was bad even before the show.

exactly that’s the thing about abusers . usually they’re people that you build a relationship with . they’re not mean to you 24/7 . it’s a mixture of sweet moments & abuse . that’s what makes it hurt that much more . that’s why people have a hard time leaving their abusers .
These times were so rare, I hardly ever remember Abby actually being nice to Chloe. Almost every episode during the earlier seasons Chloe was almost constantly berated by Abby sometimes even over the smallest things. I wish she would've been treated better, it always broke my heart seeing how she was treated. 😭

This is like… classic narcissist abuse. You’re torn down time and time again, but it’s those little moments that make you think, “maybe they’re not that bad. Maybe they do want the best for me.” And that’s how you get stuck in a cycle, until you can look back in hindsight. These moments were like rewards for behaving the way it was expected. Honestly I liked all the girls, but Chloe was my favorite, she was not only extremely talented but sooo nice, polite and mature with everyone and in many situations that it hurts to see something like this
I remember seeing these moments between Abby and Chloé. They were SO very sweet and professional. Even though Chloé was just a child, then, she always portrayed herself as a professional dancer. As with JoJo and Kalani, I hope Chloé might one day reach out to Abby, who, as evidenced from these few clips, DID indeed care about and admire her. What happened when Chloé had to leave the show was tragic. It was. I was SO glad when Chloé came back to the show. When she asked, "Who missed me?" I felt like answering back, "We ALL missed you!!!" But ... that tragic piece of Dance Moms' history is in the past. I say the reason why Chloé would probably need to be the one to reach out to Abby is because Abby probably knows what emotional damage she did to Chloé and consequently, must be SO sorry. Like Abby one time said, the child, mind you, Chloé is an adult now, should approach an adult. I honestly think Abby would be nervous to reach out to Chloé because she fears she could cause more harm. BUT ... I am pretty sure that if Chloé reached out to Abby, a new friendship WILL begin. Abby really DID LOVE ALL the children of the Dance Mom's cast which included Chloé, Maddie, Kenzie, Nia, Brooke, Paige, Kendall, Kalani and JoJo. Honestly, as a teacher myself, I know that sometimes you have to show hard love to teach. You teach because you love and want to help children grow up. But ... I could tell she did LOVE all those young ladies. Chloé has always been wise beyond her age. Chloé is gracious and kind. I do not think Chloé CAN even try to be mean. I am SO glad she was part of that show, "Dance Moms" and I am looking forward to the Reunion. May 1st 2024 is coming!!! Yay!!!
You have to remember that it wasn't only Abby's fault she acted the way she did, nobody ever points out the producers when it was they're at fault too. (it was apart of the contract Abby signed.) Christi literally said that Abby would take them to get junk food and go out before the show. (correct me if I'm wrong, idk it might've been Melissa.) She later pointed out that the show changed all of them.
I thought it was dumb when Chloe was saying how sad she wasn’t wanted to break, and Abby started comforting her, but then made sure that it didn’t it last long and reminded her that she had whole list of girls waiting
Tbh during the start of the show Abby really liked Chloe and treated her well. It was the storyline of the show that the producers wanted to portray and forced Abby into going with the ride. It drove Abby mad and that's why she started losing so much patience later in the shows, eventually taking it out on the kids And to this day, Abby still acknowledges Chloe's (and the other girls') talent in dancing, she praised Chloe several times on the channel in recent years. Notice how much successful kids are when you are nice you don’t have to be especially nice just to grouchy, mean and forceful just a simple “are you okay” when you fall or give someone a chance to get something wrong is enough
I really wish we saw more of this in the show. Two minutes out of 5 or something seasons sad. And even sometimes when she was being nice it was just Abby not screaming or insulting.
It makes me happy that Abby finally treated Chloe nicely,but the sad thing is, the video is only 2 minutes long so that means Abby doesn’t treat her nicely often 😢
Of course the only times Abby is nice to Chloe is when she wins a comp. Meanwhile when Maddie forgot her solo in like season one or two, Abby was so comforting.
I’m not gonna lie…..while it’s nice to see some clips of Abby actually being nice to Chloe, some of them seem like Abby was just being sarcastic and still rude but she was trying to act nice. Like she was being nice….but still bitchy.
That was nice to see the Chloe happy times with her bc we never really got to see them- they were far & few between, Abby needs emotive kids have hard time going up to her when there always getting yelled at & it’s important to have those moments
I really wish there were more scenes like this in the show, I love seeing Abby being a genuinely nice person, the show just doesnt show that side of her. I remember my basketball coach and she is the toughest, most strict coach i've had in my experience with sports, and some people will take stuff put of context when in reality the only thing she was trying to do was make us better players. Ik Addy is WAY different than just a strict teacher, but a lot of things from the show could be taken put of context for dramatic purposes.

Like I am not hating on Maddie I mean she is a hard working and very talented girl and I mean like that is an amazing quality of her. But Abby shouldn’t have just rub it all in the other girls faces. And kissing Maddie was not okay a kid and an adult? Like seriously? I understand if it is your mom or something but why a dance teacher?

This is like… classic narcissist abuse. You’re torn down time and time again, but it’s those little moments that make you think, “maybe they’re not that bad. Maybe they do want the best for me.” And that’s how you get stuck in a cycle, until you can look back in hindsight. These moments were like rewards for behaving the way it was expected. Hoping this helps someone

Honestly I liked all the girls, but Chloe was my favorite, she was not only extremely talented but sooo nice, polite and mature with everyone and in many situations that it hurts to see something like this

I remember seeing these moments between Abby and Chloé. They were SO very sweet and professional. Even though Chloé was just a child, then, she always portrayed herself as a professional dancer.
As with JoJo and Kalani, I hope Chloé might one day reach out to Abby, who, as evidenced from these few clips, DID indeed care about and admire her. What happened when Chloé had to leave the show was tragic. It was. I was SO glad when Chloé came back to the show. When she asked, "Who missed me?" I felt like answering back, "We ALL missed you!!!"
But ... that tragic piece of Dance Moms' history is in the past.
I say the reason why Chloé would probably need to be the one to reach out to Abby is because Abby probably knows what emotional damage she did to Chloé and consequently, must be SO sorry. Like Abby one time said, the child, mind you, Chloé is an adult now, should approach an adult. I honestly think Abby would be nervous to reach out to Chloé because she fears she could cause more harm. BUT ... I am pretty sure that if Chloé reached out to Abby, a new friendship WILL begin. Abby really DID LOVE ALL the children of the Dance Mom's cast which included Chloé, Maddie, Kenzie, Nia, Brooke, Paige, Kendall, Kalani and JoJo.
Honestly, as a teacher myself, I know that sometimes you have to show hard love to teach.
You teach because you love and want to help children grow up.
But ... I could tell she did LOVE all those young ladies.
Chloé has always been wise beyond her age.
Chloé is gracious and kind. I do not think Chloé CAN even try to be mean. I am SO glad she was part of that show, "Dance Moms" and I am looking forward to the Reunion.

If Abby was like this 100 percent of the time she’d be well liked.
The fact she's so mean to her that her saying are you okay is her being nice is crazy.
You have to remember that it wasn't only Abby's fault she acted the way she did, nobody ever points out the producers when it was they're at fault too. (it was apart of the contract Abby signed.) Christi literally said that Abby would take them to get junk food and go out before the show. (correct me if I'm wrong, idk it might've been Melissa.) She later pointed out that the show changed all of them.
I thought it was dumb when Chloe was saying how sad she wasn’t wanted to break, and Abby started comforting her, but then made sure that it didn’t it last long and reminded her that she had whole list of girls waiting
This lowkey made me shed a couple tears ngl, chloe deserved more of this

Tbh during the start of the show Abby really liked Chloe and treated her well. It was the storyline of the show that the producers wanted to portray and forced Abby into going with the ride. It drove Abby mad and that's why she started losing so much patience later in the shows, eventually taking it out on the kids
And to this day, Abby still acknowledges Chloe's (and the other girls') talent in dancing, she praised Chloe several times on the channel in recent years. It was Christi that she couldn't stand

If you watch the part where Chloe's doing her turn performing for them you can see Abby in the back Corner kind of hiding but looking at Chloe in a way like she does with Maddie and her dances❤

I really wish there were more scenes like this in the show, I love seeing Abby being a genuinely nice person, the show just doesnt show that side of her. I remember my basketball coach and she is the toughest, most strict coach i've had in my experience with sports, and some people will take stuff put of context when in reality the only thing she was trying to do was make us better players. Ik Addy is WAY different than just a strict teacher, but a lot of things from the show could be taken put of context for dramatic purposes.
